Just when we thought the most surprising thing about Paris Fashion Week was going to be the #WordsMostTalkedAboutBaby sitting front row at every major show, the modeling world suffered a sudden, massive loss. Supermodel, “It” girl, and rising actress Cara Delevingne had her most famous feature tragically taken away from her before she walked down the Givenchy runway.

OK, OK, guys you can stop sobbing into your eyebrow pencils—Cara’s foray into brow-less-ness is thankfully not permanent (sorry for playing with your emotions like that). She had them back the next day (today!) when she strutted her stuff for Stella McCartney, and once more the world was gifted with witnessing the reemergence of the strongest eyebrow game in history. Her missing brows were simply the result of some truly transformative makeup magic courtesy of longtime high fashion makeup artist Pat McGrath, who also got rid of a few other notable sets of brows for Givenchy’s show.
While it was definitely cool to see Ms. Delevingne sans her signature look and be able take in the rest of her general flawlessness (those cheekbones tho), Cara without her eyebrows is like Monday without coffee or Taylor Swift without a basket full of homemade chai eggnog cookies—it’s just not right.
