So, cannibalism. That’s a thing that’s happening.

On the latest episode of “The Walking Dead,” titled “Strangers,” beloved Bob’s foot got caught in the mouths of some ferociously hungry hunters — the leftover Terminus survivors, as led by Gareth. It was a twisted ending for what was an otherwise relatively uplifting hour of “Walking Dead,” complete with the arrival of a brand-new character.

Hours after the episode aired, here’s what we’re still wondering about how it all went down:

1. So, Is That It For Bob?

Not that there isn’t precedent for one-legged survivors thriving in the zombie apocalypse. Yes, Hershel died, but not because of his physical handicap. If Bob returns to the group before losing any other major body parts, he could recover from his situation. But that’s a big if. Gareth and his pals look pretty hungry. Don’t be surprised if they’re all finished eating Bob burgers by the time the next episode airs.

2. Why Was Bob Outside?
That’s a fair question. Why did Bob leave the church? After the group decides to travel on to Washington, Bob steps outside and looks at Father Gabriel’s church with mixed emotions on his face — joy, sorrow, you name it. He goes through the gamut. What’s up with you, Bob? Why are you out and about on your own, being such a weirdo, letting yourself get captured?

The latest headlines about the Ebola epidemic read like something out of a Hollywood medical thriller. Every day brings more urgent news about new infections, botched protocols, scrambles to disinfect airplanes and, on Friday (October 17) the naming of an “Ebola Czar” and an “Ebola SWAT Team” to handle the U.S. response.

The virus has killed more than 4,000 in West Africa, sickened more than twice that number in the region and led to two domestic deaths to date. Even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seems to have made some missteps in the wake of the infection of Dallas nurse Amber Vinson.

Still, in the wake of those headlines, according to experts, you should be keeping calm. And here’s why:

The chances you’ll catch Ebola are pretty slim
“The CDC remains confident that Ebola is not a significant public health threat to the United States,” a spokesperson for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told MTV News. “It is not transmitted easily, and it does not spread from people who are not ill.”

While Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris got all smoochy for 2012′s “I Need Your Love,” the duo’s latest collaboration, “Outside,” follows a doomed love.

The track starts slow, Ellie’s airy voice urgently telling the story of being excommunicated from a relationship. “Thought I’d been so strong/ There’s a power in what you do/ Now every other day I’ll be watching you.” Calvin creates a sinister counter-melody with a detached, string-like motif that carries throughout the song.

And it wouldn’t be a dance track without those claps building up to the climax, where the lyrics take a vengeful turn. “I’ll show you what it feels like/ Now I’m on the outside.”

“Outside” is a track off Harris’ Motion album, out October 31, and follows the producer’s first single, “Slow Acid.” The LP also includes features from Gwen Stefani, Tinashe, Haim and Big Sean.

You better be gearing up for a whole lot of Gwen. Gwen Stefani is bursting with new music, and she gave us her new song “Baby Don’t Lie” at midnight.

Written by Stefani, Benny Blanco, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Noel Zancanella, the song is featured on the singer’s upcoming solo record — her first since 2006′s Sweet Escape. The dancey track focuses on a pulsing, tropical beat, a simple melody and Gwen’s vocal inflections. Take a listen!

Along with her own album, Stefani has plans to release a No Doubt album. She’s been in the studio with old pal Pharrell (are we getting another “Hollaback Girl”?) and is featured on Calvin Harris’ Motion.

To paraphrase a great book I once read: You may think you know Charli XCX, but you have no idea.

Wait, no — that was MTV’s “Diary.”

Whatever, the point still stands. Over the past 18 months, MTV’s latest Artist To Watch has broken into the mainstream thanks to features on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and Icona Pop’s “I Love It” (which she co-wrote), followed by her own solo single on the “Fault In Our Stars” soundtrack, “Boom Clap.”

All three songs landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, but if they’re all you know about Charli, then you’ve got some stuff to learn.

Charli XCX was born Charlotte Emma Aitchison in the U.K. — Stevenage in Hertfordshire, England to be exact.

She’s 22 years old, and she’s technically only released one album so far, 2013′s True Romance. I say “technically” because her “real” first full length, 2008′s 14, was a promotional LP recorded with the support of her parents in order to book gigs, and it was never officially made available anywhere.
