It’s cold. It’s wet. It’s already dark by the time I leave work. I came out to have a good time, and I’m honestly feeling so attacked right now. Thanks a lot, fall.

To counter this seasonal depression, let’s flash back to a happier, sunnier, summer-ier time. We know you all are out there ‘Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It’ because today is a day of celebration: It’s Will Smith’s birthday.

The rapper-turned-TV-star and blockbuster actor celebrated his 46 birthday today, (September 25) and to mark this momentous occasion we’ve been all rapping the “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” theme song, pretty much all day. But, we aren’t the only ones probably celebrating in that way, because we guess that Ed Sheeran might be doing the same.

See, Ed’s a big fan of Will, and his TV show, so much so, that he actually has the words “Prince” in colorful green block letters tattooed on his arm.

“I played in Philadelphia and I was on tour with my friends, the Rizzle Kicks, who were my opening act,” Ed told us back in 2013 adding that he actually got the tattoo in Philly. “And I got ‘Prince,’ Jordan got ‘Fresh’ on his leg, and Harley got on his arm ‘on the playground where I spent most of my days.’ ”

And if you are wondering if Sheeran really is a legitimate “Fresh Prince” fan, he proved it by rapping the entire theme song of the show, and unsurprisingly, never missed a beat. Go to the 1:00 mark to see Ed in action.

If you found yourself whining and complaining when Kendrick Lamar released “i” this week, then this song might be more your speed.

A snippet of the new Kendrick track (or Kendrick featured-track?) “I’m Da Man” was posted on Ab-Soul’s SoundCloud page on Thursday (September 25), and it’s a whole different vibe from what we heard earlier in the week. No positive chants over here.

There’s no word on whether or not this will end up on his good kid, m.A.A.d city follow up, or if it’s just a freebie, so for now, just listen and enjoy.

You’re holding using the phone the wrong way.

No, seriously. Apple just released a statement about the alleged “Bendgate” scandal that’s been rocking the iPhone 6 Plus world for the last several days, and also knocking Apple’s stock down a few pegs.

If you haven’t heard, a handful of iPhone 6 Plus users have been posting photos that show a crease in the aluminum body of their brand-new devices, allegedly from storing the phone in the front pocket of their pants for extended periods of time. Lewis Hilsenteger of Unbox Theory took the test a step further by bending an iPhone under the force of his bare hands.

So what exactly did the Big A have to say about this debacle? It wasn’t far off from Steve Jobs’ sentiment over the iPhone 4′s antenna-gate.

“With normal use a bend in iPhone is extremely rare,” Apple said. They went on to note that only nine customers have directly reported the bending issue, and went as far as to describe the rigorous testing the device was put through before market.

Now that we’ve had ample time to let #bendgate sink in, we can all admit to ourselves that the desire for an iPhone 6 has not yet dwindled. Nope—the need for an upgrade has still never been more real.

So, if the new 5.5-incher isn’t going to squeeze into the pocket of your skinny jeans without buckling, it’s time for another kind of upgrade. Fortunately, designers must have gotten the memo—or maybe there’s such a thing as trend forecasting* after all?—because iPhone-friendly fashion was all over the Spring/Summer 2015 runways this month.

In case you hadn’t heard, a Riverside, CA schools committee banned “The Fault in Our Stars” from its middle school classrooms, during Banned Book Week no less.

The committee took issue with exposing the students to mortality and sexuality, because those are things that are not essential aspects of life, apparently.

But before I get too mad about the decision, I’ll let “Fault in Our Stars” writer John Green take over. He published his official response to the banning on his tumblr after a fan asked how he felt about the decision.

“I guess I am both happy and sad.

“I am happy because apparently young people in Riverside, California will never witness or experience mortality since they won’t be reading my book, which is great for them.

“But I am also sad because I was really hoping I would be able to introduce the idea that human beings die to the children of Riverside, California and thereby crush their dreams of immortality.”

Riverside schools committee, you just got Green’d.

JK), she’s been flying around the world promoting her new Intimate Collection, which she debuted at New York Fashion Week earlier this month. Joey Bada$$ has been teasing fans with the release of his debut album, B4DA$$, since he announced the title back in early 2013. And though there’s still no official release date on the project, the music is ready.

“At this point, the album is completed,” Joey told MTV News on Wednesday. “[I finished it] literally two days ago. It’s been pretty much completed for a while, but it’s like when you make ice cream, it’s that cherry on the top that really brings it all together. The whole time, I’ve been searching for sprinkles, and now I got it nicely decorated and everything, so it’s ready to go.”

Anyone who has heard the Brooklyn native rap knows that the rhymes will be on point — and it sounds like he called in the production to match. “I worked with Statik Selektah heavy,” he said. “I worked with DJ Premier. Hit-Boy. There’s Kirk Knight. There’s Chuck Strangers. Zo Supreme.”

All of those producers fit with Joey’s sound, and we’ve heard him rhyme over some of their beats in the past. But he also has at least one collaboration that’s a bit more surprising: Pop/electronic artist Kiesza. The two worked together on “Bad Thing,” which dropped this week. While that was her record, featuring Joey, she also returned the favor for his album.

So, apparently your tendency to date borderline-unemployed artistic types who keep their money hidden in a shoebox under their beds is not your fault — as your parents like to claim.

You’re merely one of the growing number of unmarried women who are failing to find a good, employed man in today’s rough ‘n’ tumble world because, simply, there’s not enough of that to go around. Don’t you feel better now?

According to A Pew Research Center census analysis quoted by New York magazine, 78% of women “place a great deal of importance on finding someone who has a steady job” — because, you know, it’s nice to have someone around who can help pay rent/afford groceries/not steal from you.

Unfortunately for that 78%, though, the pool of dudes with jobs is apparently draining. We’re splatting on the concrete off the high dive here, kids. The number of men with gigs aged 25 to 34 per 100 women “dropped from 139 in 1960 to 91 in 2012,” according to Pew. So, basically, there are fewer employed men now than there were in the black and white days, thereby confirming my dad’s hypothesis that “men today are just so lost — maybe you should join a club of some sort” (minus that last part).

My heart can’t handle all these celebrity break-ups.

First Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are over and now Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks, have reportedly called it quits after nearly three years of dating.

Multiple sources confirmed to E! News that the break-up was mutual and that “they still care very deeply for each other.” The break up may come as even more of a shock to fans since just last month the two seemed happy, in love and color coordinated at the 2014 Video Music Awards.

Both Jordin and Jason have yet to comment on the reported break-up, but Jordin—who still has a photo of her and Jason as a banner pic on Twitter—did tweet to her fans that she recently wrote the “saddest song” of her life.

The couple have been very open about their relationship since they made it publically official back in 2012. The two often walk red carpets together, took adorable selfies, sang songs about and with each other, and were recently featured in a fall fashion spread for US Weekly.

Many thought they were going to take their relationship to the next step after Jason released the song, “Marry Me,” off his recent Talk Dirty album, which he wrote just for his girlfriend, who appeared in the video.
