These Celebrity Guests Really Knew How To ‘Wild ‘N Out’

by 1 min ago

Who says pretty girls aren’t funny?

Chrissy Teigen brought her comedic A game to “Wild ‘N Out” — thanks to a (hilarious) gesture not exactly befitting a supermodel. But she’s not the only celebrity guest who managed to tickle our funny bone during Season 6. Check out the A-listers who managed to make host Nick Cannon‘s jaw drop to the floor — and us totally LOL:

Nelly

When an audience member hit the stripper pole and wasn’t afraid to drop it like it’s hot, the rapper joined in on the fun. Hey, we would expect nothing less from the man who showed us how to “Shake Ya Tailfeather.”

Vic Mensa

If viewers weren’t familiar with the indie rapper by the start of the show, they sure were by the end of this episode. In the clip above, he demonstrated how to properly demolish the opposing team with not one, but four punchlines. Not bad for a newbie.

Bow Wow

He may have a new lady (and a new name) now, but on episode four, the artist currently known as Shad Moss had a mean case of the ex.

Drita D’Avanzo

During a game called “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do,” the Lady Boss reminded us why you never mess with the mob.

Chrissy Teigen

John Legend’s leading lady took the cake when it came to celebs who know how to “Wild ‘N Out,” perhaps because she was (admittedly) a little tipsy. Check out how she ...

‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Season Two: Everything You Need To Know

by 3 mins ago

At long last, the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division is back open for business.

Tonight sees the return of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” after several months off the air, plunging viewers back into the world of spies and shadows where guys like Agent Phil Coulson thrive. But a lot has changed since the show first began, thanks to a tumultuous first season that resulted in some major deaths, betrayals and organizational overhauls.

Here’s what you need to know about where things stand on “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” ahead of tonight’s premiere:

HYDRA Killed S.H.I.E.L.D.

HYDRA

The game-changing reveal of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” had massive ramifications on “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” resulting in the agency’s total shutdown.

The New Man in Charge

Phil Coulson

Well, not a total shutdown. By the end of season one, a presumed dead Nick Fury resurfaced to pass the torch to Phil Coulson, anointing him as the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Of course, there’s the not-so-small matter of having to rebuild the agency from scratch, but that shouldn’t be more than a bump in the road for a man who cheated death, right?

The Writing on the Wall

Coulson writes on the wall

Not only must Coulson rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D., he also has to deal with some cosmic qualities he started exhibiting at the end of season one. Much like his late friend-turned-foe John Garrett, Coulson was last seen writing mysterious markings on windows. What these markings mean, and why Coulson’s making them, is a ...

Big K.R.I.T.’s Still Eyeing A Spike Lee Collaboration As He Readies ‘Soulful’ Cadillactica

by 21 mins ago

Big K.R.I.T’s second studio album is around the corner, with a November 11 drop date, and the Def Jam rapper is excited to show fans something new this time. He gave us a lil’ taste of what he’s working with the new mixtape See Me On Top Vol. 4, but there’s plenty more where that came from.

K.R.I.T. fans know that the Mississippi artist prides himself on both producing and rapping, so they’ll be happy to know that he expanded his range on Cadillactica.

“I only used three samples on the entire album, which is amazing for me, because people know me to sample a lot,” he told MTV News on the Bet Hip Hop Awards carpet. “For me, it was trying to make the kind of music that sounds like a sample, feels like a sample, had the same amount of grit and soul as a sample — [although] it wasn’t.”

And even though he’s moving forward right now, there’s still one passion project that he’s determined to complete: That “Praying Man” video — directed by Spike Lee.

“It’s not over!” K.R.I.T. said laughing. “That’s still something we’re trying to put together. The timing wasn’t right but that song hasn’t gone away, the idea hasn’t gone anyway and I think it’ll be even bigger, the fact that it’s not attached to an album when we do it.”

Lena Dunham Is Producing A Documentary About An LGBT-Friendly Tailor

by 2 mins ago

Lena Dunham is getting into the tailoring business, and it’s not what you think. Dunham and her Girls EP Jenni Konner are executive producing an HBO documentary called Three Suits. According to Vanity Fair, the film will center around Brooklyn-based tailoring company Bindle & Keep, following several of its transgender clients.

Daniel Friedman, Bindle & Keep’s founder and owner, found inspiration in Rachel Tutera of The Handsome Butch. Tutera—who identifies herself as someone who occupies the “tiny space that exists between being a butch dyke and being a trans man”—had articulated a problem in the world of suiting: finding suits that had a masculine profile, but were fit for women. Common problems found by Tutera and other clients of Friedman’s were that men’s suits were often too large, and that women’s suits emphasized parts of the body that many that did not want to draw attention too either through cuts or darting.

Bindle & Keep services a variety of needs: suits for work, for court, for gay weddings, etc. Friedman and his staff have made a conscious effort to accommodate the entire spectrum of body types of gender identities and pride themselves on their relationships with their customers. Their efforts are obviously paying off as Friedman plans to expand his business to the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington D.C. and Toronto.

As for the documentary itself, no release date has been announce, but we’re already clearing our calendars for its ...

Will 5SOS’ Next Project Be Their 2020 ‘Comeback Album’?

by 14 mins ago

Finally! The 5SOS Amnesia EP is in our possession and on repeat for the rest of the week. But you know what? I need more.

Yes, I know it hasn’t even been 2 months since their debut album dropped, but if you are constantly monitoring their Instagram feed, like me, then you know that they have been in the studio recording some “NEW NEW stuff.” So, what’s the status?

We caught up with Michael, Calum, Luke and Ashton at the iHeart Radio Music Festival and they told us there have been attempts at writing some new material while they are out on the road supporting One Direction on their Where We Are Tour.

“We’ve been trying to, ‘trying’ is the key word,” Ashton said about writing new music. “We’ve been trying to fit it in. We’ve been so busy lately, but we are definitely feeling creative again and excited to write a second album.”

The guys, who are gearing up for their fan convention Derp Con in November, unfortunately won’t be releasing new music this year, but look for it in 2015, or in the year 2020, as Luke joked. “Our comeback album,” Ashton added.

But, here’s some good news for the 5SOS fam: Michael did say to be ready because they’ve got “some little stuff” popping up at the end of the year. Plus, they have plans to release another single off their self-titled album.

“We don’t know whether we are ...

Watch 2 Chainz Eat The Most Expensive Burger In The World

by 13 mins ago

Anyone that’s followed 2 Chainz knows that he’s riding around and he’s getting it, and it’s his, so he spends it. But would he spend it on the most expensive burger in the world?

Tit took a trip with GQ to taste a $295 burger and find out. Made by chef Joe Calderone and served at New York City’s Serendipity 3, Le Burger Extravagant looks to be exactly what it’s billed to be.

There’s special Japanese beef, cheese that’s aged in a cave and wildly expensive caviar. Oh, and also 24 karat gold shavings on top of the bun.

And the Chainz verdict? “This burger was more than just food; it was an experience for me,” he said. “I’m gonna have to challenge my chef to order some things from a cave.”

According to Calderone, all the profits from the sales of the burger — which has to be ordered a day in advance so ingredients can be flown in to the restaurant — go to the Bowery Mission, which offers food and shelter to the city’s homeless.

If you liked watching 2 Chainz eat an expensive burger, then you can also watch him test $30,000 headphones and a $2 million car.

‘Gotham’ Cast Reveals Which Batman Bad Guys They Want To See Next

by 2 mins ago

With Reporting by Alex Zalben

Penguin, Riddler, Poison Ivy and Catwoman — four iconic Batman villains who made appearances in the “Gotham” series premiere, if not in their full-realized form. And they’re far from the only rogues in the Dark Knight‘s gallery headed to the new FOX series.

Ahead of the premiere, MTV News caught up with the cast of “Gotham” at the show’s red carpet premiere, and asked them about the villains they’re eager to see in the weeks ahead. The most popular answer — and not at all surprisingly — was the Joker, Batman’s arch nemesis, who remains uncast on “Gotham,” but is already being teased; that comedian at Fish Mooney’s nightclub wasn’t there without a reason.

Other popular recommendations include Joker’s sidekick Harley Quinn, Harvey “Two-Face” Dent and the Scarecrow. But there’s another series of villains worth considering, according to Barbara Kean actress Erin Richards: the villains who haven’t been invented yet, like Fish Mooney.

“Those characters are very interesting to explore because [creator Bruno Heller] can do anything with them,” Richards argued. “Even with the Penguin, even though he’s such a fabulous character and Robin Lord Taylor is doing such a fabulous job with it, it’s a little more restricted because people have expectations. With Fish, anything can happen.”

Indeed, not even Fish herself — actress Jada Pinkett Smith — knows what’s ahead. “I’m as excited as anyone to find out what’s going to happen, and I don’t know — that’s the truth,” Smith said. “I get ...

The “Pretty Little Liars” star showed her support by posting a black-and-white shot of Watson on Instagram, with the caption, “Yes! If you have not seen Emma Watson’s speech to the UN introducing the #heforshe movement, reclaiming “feminism” as an inclusive and supportive term that is beneficial for BOTH men and women and the extension of the formal invitation to all men to get involved in the conversation that can and will change the way all human beings relate to each other… Do not wait another second. ‘Raiders Of The Lost Ark’ Is Even Better In Black And White

by 12 mins ago

Steven Soderbergh is as busy in “retirement” as ever, and his latest project is one of his most eye-opening and fun outings yet.

Turns out, Soderbergh is a really, really big fan of “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” But whereas you or I might express our love for Indiana Jones’ first adventure by blasting the classic John Williams theme or dominating the Indy category at Thursday night trivia, Soderbergh took a slightly more artistic approach to his fandom.

He sapped the entire movie of its color, making it black and white, and also made it silent, adding only some electronic music as neutral ambiance.

According to the director, taking out John Williams’ classic score, the bevy of sound effects, the whip-smart dialogue, and the gorgeous color of “Raiders” allows you to focus specifically on the staging and majesty of each individual shot, and Soderbergh, of course, is right: they’re amazing. Just look for yourself.

Spieberg’s use of shadow emphasizes the mythic nature of Indy, something you can see much better without color.
