There, there.

Our favorite on-again-off-again-on-again couple has officially called it quits. After nearly five years of fighting, yelling, bed-tossing and makeup sex, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Magro of “Jersey Shore” are no more. Like, for real this time. Talk about epic sadness. And no more Fred Flinstone toe mentions.

We’d like to dry our tears just long enough to reflect on some of the former lovebirds’ most unforgettable moments, dating all the way back to 2009:

Their First Date (Season 1, Episode 3)

Ronnie almost lost Sammi to Mike “The Situation” during their early days in Seaside Heights. Almost. But Sammi chose Ron Ron, and the two shared an intimate evening of go-karts and mini-golf. The rest is a very rocky history.

Sammi Punches Ronnie (Season 3, Episode 5)

By the time Season 3 rolled around, we were accustomed to SamRon’s constant fighting, which went a little something like this: They go to Karma. Ronnie dance-cheats with another girl. Sammi gets jealous and breaks up with him. They have makeup sex mixed with I-love-yous. Repeat. Their roller-coaster relationship came to a head when Ronnie rekinkled his friendship with JWOWW, and Sammi gave him an uppercut to the jaw over it.

When it comes to starting out in your career, being unable to cry in front of Michael Bay would very likely not get you a callback, let alone the job. But “If I Stay” star Chloe Moretz managed to overcome all that in order to land her first movie role in “The Amityville Horror.”

“I had to like cry over and over again in auditions… Because when you’re a little kid that’s what it means to be an actor, is being able to cry,” Moretz told MTV News. “It was my last audition. Michael Bay was in front of me with all the big guys and I was ready to cry for the 15,000th time, and I keep looking up and looking out and I can’t do it.”

But that’s not all: the exuberant child star-turned-adult actorlady managed, with her pitch-perfect sweetness, to also make lying to directorial King of the Movies, Martin Scorsese, an aww-shucks-y passable offense.

“I had to lie to him and tell him I was British,” Moretz explained. “I was like, ahh, 13 years old and was all ‘OK I’ll try to do this.’ ”

Can you even believe it? That’s like, worse than lying on a math test or copying your best friend’s biology homework. OH JEEZ! A couple years ago, former U.S. Olympic swimmer Carly Geehr admitted, “Nearly 100% of elite competitive swimmers pee in the pool. Regularly.” That’s either revolting or a major job perk, depending on your perspective, but at least pools have chlorine to sterilize your fellow swimmers’ liquid (and, ugh, solid) waste. When you’re at the beach, a golden shower through osmosis is just one more reason to be terrified of the ocean.

The good news is that, if you’re the pisser instead of the pissed-upon, you don’t need to feel guilty — at least in terms of environmental impact. According to this animated science lesson from the American Chemical Society, pee has no major ecological effect:

Fish won’t mind drinking your expelled Starbucks, the video explains, because urine is “95% water” and sodium chloride, which the ocean has in abundance. Also, your bladder isn’t that spacious compared to a whale’s: “If every person one earth [peed] into the Atlantic, there’d be just 60 parts per trillion.”

Finally, the nitrogen in urine “combines with water to produce ammonium, which feeds ocean plant life.” You’re just showing thanks to the ocean kingdom for all that sushi. Pass it forward. Piss it forward!

Looks like Vogue is stepping up in a big way. The magazine just shot rapper A$AP Rocky and his model girlfriend Chanel Iman together for their annual September issue. While they’ve each appeared in editorials before, both for Vogue and other publications, this is the first time they’ve been featured together. Also, it marks a push towards more diversity in the publication, which is huge since the industry has gotten some blowback for not enough variety in its casting.

From what we’ve seen on Chanel’s Instagram account, the shoot is definitely going for a Dirty Dancing vibe with A$AP swinging Chanel around like they’re both at a Catskills resort, but between you and me—looking at A$AP’s shoe game and Chanel’s flowy dresses I’m getting more of a “In The Closet” vibe. Either way, this is going to be amazing, and I’ll be staking out the magazine rack at the nearest Barnes & Noble. See you then.

Movie can be a big part of college life because you can’t go to class and study all the time, right? There are an infinite number of scenarios where the right movie can help make the best college memories, but you have to be prepared.

As college students start to head back to campus, these are just a handful of movies that they might want to have ready, just in case the opportunity arises.

Because you will have internships, and they won’t be fun.

To remind yourself why double majoring in English and History was a good idea.

The year was 1993. Grunge was king, Bill Clinton was the new president, David Letterman didn’t get the “Tonight Show,” “Jurassic Park” had the biggest movie opening of all time and Victoria Justice, Chance the Rapper, Liam Payne were born.

Oh, and so was 2014 MTV Video Music Awards performer and nominee Ariana Grande! The VMAs 21 years ago were weird and wild, and you don’t need to look any further than the 1993 VMAs for proof. What did the show look like the year Ariana bounced into the world and prepared for her fembot takeover? Nirvana and Pearl Jam were the show’s (and era’s) saving grace, but from the looks of Christian Slater’s vest, the world (and the VMAs) more than needed Ariana at the VMAs.

Here are a few highlights from the tenth VMAs, aka the year Ariana Grande was born.

Christian Slater did the honors the same year he starred as Clarence Worley in “True Romance.” So that was awesome. Plus, he wore a vest at one point during the show in an act of absolute ’90s redundancy.

When Warner Bros. needed to find a fantastic director for the studio’s upcoming “Harry Potter” spin-off feature, “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them,” execs knew just where to find them. In fact, if a report in Variety pans out, they didn’t need to look any further than the already-released “Harry Potter” movies.

David Yates, who directed four movies in the franchise, including the final two “Deathly Hallows” installments, is reportedly in negotiations to direct the first installment of the spin-off series.

Yates is currently filming “Tarzan” with star Alexander Skarsgard.

The first movie in the “Fantastic Beasts” trilogy, which will focus on the life and adventures of magizoologist Newt Scamander (the author of the Hogwarts textbook that the trilogy takes its name from), is set for a November 18, 2016 release. J.K. Rowling, author of the “Harry Potter” series and the separately released “Fantastic Beasts” textbook, will write the screenplay. The film will be shot at the same studios just outside London that housed the sets for the original “Harry Potter” films.

Rowling has clarified that the series will be set nearly a century before Harry, Hermione and Ron set foot in Hogwarts, and will begin in New York City.

Is there anything one can say that hasn’t already been said about the onslaught of celebrity Ice Bucket Challenge videos to raise awareness for ALS? Not really, right?

We’ve seen a whole manner of famousfolk take the icy plunge (and hopefully donate a couple dollar-os in the interim)… But we haven’t seen the Tatums do it yet! And when they do, it’s adorable.

Channing and his lady Jenna Dewan-Tatum have now also had a bunch of cold water dumped on their heads in the name of good-deeding, calling out several friends and fellow famous folk, including Emmanuelle Chriqui, Kate Mara, Janet Jackson (wait: are Jenna and Janet buds? Serious question), Jonah Hill (because duh), Meryl Streep, and Daniel Day-Lewis (please tell me DDL, Meryl, and Channing hang out on the regs, that would be fabulous if also nonsensical) to also get in on the video challenge.

The deluge that followed the named one looked impressively forceful… and also cold.

Buckets o’ ice water on famous people! Money gets donated to charity! The Internet has never won so good.
