This Dancing Baby Groot Clip From ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Will Take You To Your Happy Place

by 1 min ago

What’s the best part of Marvel’s “Guardians Of The Galaxy?” Is it the camaraderie between Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and his teammates? Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) kicking each other’s butts? Or maybe Bradley Cooper’s hilarious voicework as Rocket?

Nope, it’s that dancing baby Groot at the end of the movie.

And now, you can watch what was supposed to be an end credits tag, but was so funny it was stuck in the movie proper, over and over thanks to Yahoo!

Though Vin Diesel provided the voice of Groot in the movie, it was director James Gunn who provided baby Groot’s dance moves – hopefully presaging further dancing in the next movie. “Guardians 2 The Streets,” anyone?

“Guardians of the Galaxy” is currently in movie theaters.

From Foes To Friends: Lil Wayne And 50 Cent Hit The Stage Together Last Night

by 7 mins ago

Despite issues in the past, 50 Cent and Lil Wayne seem to have fully put their differences aside. On Wednesday night, Tunechi, along with Drake, brought out Fif at their stop on the Drake Vs. Lil Wayne Tour in Connecticut.

It was an exciting moment, as you can see in the video above, with Weezy playing frenzied hype man during 50′s performance of “In da Club.” We’re glad to see it now, but things weren’t always this good between the two.

Back in 2007, the Queens rapper had some less-than-kind words for the Young Money honcho. “A whore sleeps with whoever will pay ‘em,” he said to Hot 97′s Funkmaster Flex. “So we gotta call him a whore. If he’ll just go with whoever pay him to be on their records.”

Then came the release, later that year, of “Part Time Lover,” which had a few lines directed at Wayne. That elicited a response in 2008 from President Carter on “Louisianimal.” From there, a few more lines and subliminals trickled out — with 50 coming back, daring Wayne to respond, and Wayne doing just that — but things never quite escalated to the level of, say, 50′s beefs with Ja Rule, Rick Ross or Fat Joe.

Still, tensions ran high for quite some time.

Then, in 2012, both MCs (along with Justin Bieber), escorted Floyd Mayweather to the ring before a fight. So it ...

Should ‘Teen Wolf’ Scott Be Dating Someone He Could Easily Lose?

by 9 mins ago

For most, teenage relationships mean movie dates, hand-holding and an occasional kiss in your dad’s junky convertible. In Beacon Hills, they include risking your life each time you try to have a lovey-dovey rendezvous.

Teen WolfScott McCall learned that romance certainly doesn’t last forever when the first girl that gave him butterflies, Allison Argent, was killed at the hands of an Oni last season. His heart was scarred for some time, but he’s since moved on with Kira Yukimura, one of Beacon Hills’ newest students who, like Allison, never goes down without a fight. On Monday night’s episode, though, she continued to prove why tenacity on the battlefield isn’t always a good thing.

Though the kitsune’s sword usually cuts through opponents as if they’re loose-leaf paper, a feisty Berserker delivered a crushing blow to Kira’s head that knocked her out cold and left her nearly as battered as her mother. And it wasn’t the first time Kira’s been in the line of fire — earlier this season, a Beserker delivered her a mighty ass-whooping during a battle outside the Hale family vault. These guys definitely have her ticket…

Kira’s a tough one, but when you’re as willing as she is to put up the dukes, there’s a lot of risk involved. And considering The Benefactor’s still at large, there’s no telling if her days — or anyone’s days — are numbered in Beacon Hills. So, in light of all that Scott’s been through with ...

Lorde Has Achieved More In A Year Than Most Musicians Do — Ever

by 28 mins ago

What did you do when you were 17? Finally get your license? Share your first, awkward kiss? Get smashed for the first time and call that dude you had your first, awkward kiss with after breaking up in that car you got your license to drive?

While we’re sure you had a very eventful Sweet Seventeen, we’re guessing that Lorde has you all beat. Come to think of it, she has pretty much every famous musician beat, too.

In mere days, Lorde will have the chance to add an iconic honor to her growing metaphorical and literal trophy shelf: a VMA. The 17-year-old singer is nominated for two awards in the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards — Best Rock Video and Best Female Video. When she heard about her nominations, the Kiwi musician seemed confused, tweeting, “wowzer … vma nominations! OMG i am the black sheep of both my categories hahahaha.”

Um, but are you really, Ella? You’ve achieved more in roughly 12 months than a lot of musicians have in their lifetimes. You may seem wise beyond your years but, dude, you have lived.

Let’s talk a walk down Lorde’s gold-paved memory lane before she hits the red carpet come August 24:

First, She Had That #1 Single

Ever heard of a little song called “Royals”? Unless you lack ears, you probably have. Not only did it hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track — and Lorde — also made history. Lorde is officially the youngest solo artist ...

Robin Williams Was In The Early Stages Of Parkinson’s Disease

by 30 mins ago

Three days after his death on August 11, Robin Williams’ widow Susan Schneider released a personal statement regarding the late actor’s legacy. In the statement, Schneider reveals that Williams was struggling with the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease, which was unknown at the time of his death.

Below find Schneider’s statement — which also acknowledges Williams’ battle with depression, as his preliminary autopsy ruled his death a suicide by hanging — below:

“Robin spent so much of his life helping others. Whether he was entertaining millions on stage, film or television, our troops on the frontlines, or comforting a sick child — Robin wanted us to laugh and to feel less afraid.

Since his passing, all of us who loved Robin have found some solace in the tremendous outpouring of affection and admiration for him from the millions of people whose lives he touched. His greatest legacy, besides his three children, is the joy and happiness he offered to others, particularly to those fighting personal battles.

Robin’s sobriety was intact and he was brave as he struggled with his own battles of depression, anxiety as well as early stages of Parkinson’s Disease, which he was not yet ready to share publicly.

It is our hope in the wake of Robin’s tragic passing, that others will find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid.”

Lady Gaga’s Latest Makeup Trend Involves… Her Nose?

by 22 mins ago

We gotta give it up to Lady Gaga, y’all. She’s always finding new ways to reinvent her status as a fashion icon, and while she’s been touring in Tokyo the last few days, it seems that she’s been very inspired to step outside of her typical beauty routine.

Today, she posted a photo of herself sporting some seriously ornate face lace (it’s a thing!) with her signature cat eye and bold brows, but this time she decided her nose also need some statement makeup—so she covered it entirely in metallic gold.

IDK about you guys, but it suddenly made us question why we’ve never decided to amp up our noses until now. Isn’t it time they had their moment to (literally) shine? Also, is this an obscure homage to astronomer Tycho Brahe? Or is she channeling a high-fashion scarecrow? We may never know, but we suddenly have the urge to smear metallic lipstick on our snouts ASAP. BRB.

Lowell Has Us Dancing To Poppy Jams About Being A Stripper: Get Into It Now

by 4 mins ago

So you know when you discover a new artist and you can’t wait to go out there and spread the gospel of said artist to all of your friends — you know, the people who hang on your every word and trust each and every gold-gilded opinion?

Well, today you’re all my friends, guys, because I can’t wait to tell you about this new act Lowell and why you need to get into this candy-colored, deep as f— singer ASAP.

Here is how I imagine our conversation going. Also there are snacks. Imagine the snacks as well. And lemonade. I might also be holding and petting a cat. OK. I’m done now. Let’s go:

What’s a Lowell? I think you mean “who.” Lowell — a.k.a. Elizabeth Lowell Boland — is basically your new obsession.

Um, why? I’m pretty stoked on Lorde right now. And I’m way busy waiting for Grimes’ next album. I’m sure there’s room in your black heart and ADD-addled brain for one more amazing pop star who refuses to be corralled by this mainstream-swimming world of ours.

OK, cool. What song do I need to listen to, like, right now? Oh, man — that’s way hard. First off, there’s her EP I Killed Sara. V — you should listen to basically all of that, but especially “Cloud 69.”

Then you need to check out two new tracks off of her upcoming LP, We Loved Her Dearly, out September 16: the Lana Del Rey-come-Grimes-come-eff-it-no-comparisons-she’s-an-original “Summertime” and “I Love You ...

Watch Mac Miller Slow-Dance…With His Dog

by 10 mins ago

Playing fetch isn’t how Mac Miller entertains his “Most Dope” pooches — at least, not when ballroom dancing is an option.

In this bonus scene of last night’s episode, Mac shares some quality time with his cuddly canine Ralphie. They start out by sharing a waltz, but then move on to — wait for it — baseball.

“Bottom of the ninth inning, bases loaded, and the pitch,” Mac says, using Ralphie’s arms as a pretend bat.

Just make sure you don’t swing him around too much, Mac. He’s not exactly housebroken yet…

Check out the cute clip, and watch “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family” Wednesdays at 11:30/10:30c on MTV2!
