Christian Grey Will See You Meow In The ‘Fifty Shades’ Cat Mash-up

by 10 mins ago

It’s not quite as erotic as its source material, but this “Fifty Shades of Grey” trailer recast with adorable kittens instead of people still has its own unique appeal and 1000% more cat puns than the original.

The video is the latest entry from The Animal Collective, the twisted geniuses who never met a pop culture franchise they couldn’t put a cat into. Although the feline version of Mr. Grey is more interested in toying with his clip-on abs than his co-star’s emotions, the scene with the riding crop still translates impressively well.

Taylor Swift’s Hair Has A Lot To Live Up To At This Year’s VMAs

by 17 mins ago

Swifties, how are you holding up? In case you haven’t heard–Taylor Swift is performing at the 2014 Video Music Awards. This will mark Taylor’s fourth performance at the show. Since she’s slayed so many times in the past, we’re expecting a lot–especially from her hair. Taylor has changed up her hair in a big way every time she’s appeared at the VMAs and this year we’re expecting the same, especially since it’s her first VMAs with short hair. Maybe those gravity-defying bangs will make an appearance? Until we find out on August 24, we’ll be scrolling through photos of years past, trying to decipher when she gained the ability to make her hair do magical things.

Look at this fresh-faced li’l bb girl. Taylor Swift crossed over from Nashville in a big way, and her beachy tousled waves look just as natural on Swift as any California girl.

2009 was the year that Taylor became indelibly marked in VMA history, but it also marked a departure for Taylor in a big way from her signature blond curls. The singer-songwriter channeled a little bit of Old Hollywood with a classy chignon that pulled her hair up and away from her face, with soft layers framing her face. V adult for a 19-year-old.

Iggy Azalea And Rita Ora Take ‘House Of Style’ On The Set Of ‘Black Widow’

by 9 mins ago

Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora‘s “Black Widow” video premiered mere hours ago, and we’ve been playing it on repeat ever since, but we STILL can’t get enough of the track (it’s catchy AF, sorry I’m not sorry) and its short film of a vid. We know we can’t be alone in this, so we’re serving up a piping hot helping of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the “Black Widow” set in this very special episode of House Of Style.

The 5-minute-30-second mini-film is inspired by vintage kung fu flicks and Quentin Tarantino classics like Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. It’s a mashup of cinematic references, starting you in a diner (with a cameo from Michael Madsen himself!) and then transporting you to a “dream reality world” where Iggy and Rita kick serious ass.

Iggy AzaleaMTV

Sure, these two make it look like martial arts comes as second nature, but it actually took a lot of training to get those moves looking right. We saw that first-hand (and now you can, too!) when Rita let us into her rehearsal as she was learning and perfecting her fight choreography. And let me tell you, girl put in WORK!

For all the movement and general badass-ery they do in this video, these femme fatales needed threads to match. (Plus, if there’s one thing Iggy has become well-known for in ...

61 Times Taylor Swift (A.K.A. Slaylor Swift) Slayed The VMAs

by 2 hours ago

Take a few deep, cleansing breaths and brace your neck for maximum hair-whippage, Swifties, because Taylor Swift is officially performing at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Did you heed my advice? Good, because your hospital bill is not coming out of my paycheck.

Announced moments ago on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the two-time VMA winner will take — nay, SLAY — The Forum stage on Sunday, August 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. She joins previously announced 2014 VMA performers Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, Beyoncé, Maroon 5, Usher, 5 Seconds Of Summer, and Ariana Grande, along with Pre-Show performers Fifth Harmony. (Does somebody have my Life Alert bracelet? Because I’ve fallen and I can’t get up after running through that star-studded performance roster.)

Wait. Do you hear that? That’s the sound of approximately a bah-jillion Taylor Swift fans rapidly flapping their metaphorical hummingbird wings to the bass-drop beat of “I Knew You Were Trouble” and head-banging to “All Too Well” in anticipation. Why? Because in case you haven’t been keeping track, this is the fourth VMA performance of Taylor Swift’s career. And she’s slayed every VMA moment so far.

Wait, Taylor Swift? Actually, more like Slaylor Swift! UP TOP!

Oh, and you’d better believe that I’ve got the photographic evidence to back up this obviously true claim.

Presenting the 61 Times Taylor Swift (a.k.a. ...

‘Virgin Territory’ Poll: Should Luke Have Played The Field Before Committing To Madalynn?

by 2 hours ago

If he liked it, then should he have put a (promise) ring on it? That’s the question after tonight’s “Virgin Territory” episode.

Though 22-year-old Luke has played by the rules as a student at Liberty University (no kissing, lengthy hugs or visits to dorms designed for the opposite sex), he’s still a bit of a black sheep among his friends. Many of them already sport engagement rings as their graduation date nears, but Luke’s been perpetually single, and his past relationships could more precisely be counted in days or weeks than months or years.

That is, until he met Madalynn, a Liberty lacrosse player who’s kept the proud athlete and adrenaline junkie on his toes. “She’s literally one of the best things that’s ever happened to me,” Luke gushed. “I kind of have commitment issues, so the fact that it’s at three months, I mean, that’s a big deal to me.”

LukeConvo

Evidently, it was a huge deal. Luke, who didn’t want to risk losing freshman Madalynn after graduating, decided to buy her a promise ring. It signified that he intended to remain celibate until he married her and that he would remain faithful after leaving campus while she was still in school. Luke’s betrothed friends were happy for him, but they couldn’t help but think he was jumping the gun. “Kissing a lot of different people is awesome, but kissing just one person — I didn’t realize how awesome that could be,” he assured his pals.

Michael Jackson’s ‘A Place With No Name’ Video Goes Back In Time

by 6 mins ago

Everyone knows that Michael Jackson‘s the King of Pop, but the King of Twitter, too?

Jackson’s “A Place With No Name” music video premiered worldwide exclusively on the late icon’s Twitter account Wednesday night (August 13), marking the first time the social media site has ever premiered a music video.

In the same instant, New York fans were able to catch the video on an enormous Sony screen in Times Square.

The Samuel Bayer-directed clip begins on a beach then segues to the desert, as black-and-white images of a female dancer and a dancing MJ are insterspersed.

“I walked down towards the end of the road, and in the fog a woman appeared/S he said don’t you worry my friend I’ll take care, take my hand, I’ll take you there,” he sings.

At the midway point, the visuals switch to color, where Bayer employs outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage of the XSCAPE singer that was shot for “In The Closet” — footage that had been kept in a vault since 1992.

With Hubby Javi Away, ‘Teen Mom 2”s Kailyn Struggles With Loneliness

by 8 mins ago

Kailyn had thought she could hold down the fort when Javi left for his month-long Air Force commitments, but on tonight’s episode of “Teen Mom 2,” she struggled without her better half.

“Obviously, I’m a little bit stressed out,” she told her friend Peach during a late-night phone call. “And I feel alone. I barely get out of bed in the morning. I don’t know — it’s hard.”

mtv_com_images_HDTNT518AIMAGES_674723.jpg_1525999_1920x1080

It’s not the first time Kail and Javi have been apart: Previously, they were separated for six months as the latter underwent his job training. But this time is different: Baby Lincoln is on board and the family now lives three hours away from Jo, leaving Kail with nobody nearby to help her.

Without Javi, the mother of two quickly realized that it was tougher than she thought it would be to juggle both children — and she couldn’t help but feel like a single parent all over again.

There was one bright spot: the teen mom finally got some welcome adult company. But when Isaac kept interrupting the conversation, Kail started to cry.

“I’m just getting so frustrated that Isaac’s talking over everything I’m trying to talk to you guys about,” she said as she tried to discipline her son.

mtv_com_images_HDTNT518AIMAGES_674723.jpg_1526185_1920x1080

Eventually, Kailyn got a break from her double mommy duties when it was time to take Isaac to Jo’s — but surprisingly, it only made matters worse. The reason: With Isaac gone, she admitted, she would have no ...

Chris Brown’s Version Of ‘Stay With Me’ Is Nothing At All Like Sam Smith’s

by 15 mins ago

Watch out The Lonely Island, Chris Brown can bring the musical LOL, too!

In a hilarious Instagram video, the blonde-coifed singer has his own version of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” And if you’re expecting something sweet like that now-ubiquitous hit, you don’t know Chris Brown. This time, he’s pleading with his woman to stay with him because, well, he’s “financially invested” in her look.

“Oh won’t you stay with me, cause I bought your new weave/ Now I done spent my cheese, bitch you owe me,” he sings.

Now really, what woman could resist a sweet and endearing ode like that?
