David Lynch, everyone’s strange uncle, has a new unlikely line of goods: women’s workout clothing. In addition to being an avid coffee enthusiast, a transcendental mediationist, and surrealist filmmaker, the Blue Velvet director can now add womenswear designer to his list of accomplishments. Lynch has collaborated with Live The Process, an activewear company for people who believe that gym clothes and enlightenment should go hand-in-hand. (This isn’t as off-brand as you think: the auteur has been involved with Transcendental Meditation since ’73.)

The line features a corset bra, a scoop bra top, leggings, and geometric shorts among others in a “David Lynch floral” and all proceeds go toward victims of abuse. Namaste, David. You got me. And while I won’t be fire walking to the gym anytime soon, I’ll be wearing those high-waisted bike shorts while going to town on some damn good coffee and a slice of cherry pie.

“Women Against Feminism” has become a thing and we can pretty much hear the hoofbeats of the Four Horsemen reverberating throughout the world, signaling an End Times that would make whoever your Devil is clap with glee.

Lucky for us, Beyoncé has stepped in to save the day with a single photo — as she’s been known to do.

Tuesday (July 22), Bey posted a photo to Instagram in which she’s all kitted out like Rosie The Riveter, flexing under the words “We Can Do It.” She didn’t provide any context for the snap, but we’re pretty much assuming that she posted it to basically save the world from itself. Also because she looks damn good in loose denim.

Queen Bey isn’t new to feminism — she’s basically been dubbed an honorary Riot Grrrl by Bikini Kill’s Kathleen Hanna and she contributed an essay to Maria Shriver’s “The Shriver Report: A Woman’s Nation Pushes Back from the Brink.” Oh, and she’s been repping the “f” word on tour with Jay Z, too, incorporating the term into her stage show in massive black and white letters.

Billie Joe Armstrong isn’t the kind of dude who just sits around on the couch all summer watching soccer and baseball. No, the Green Day singer can’t sit still, which explains why during a break between his band’s touring and recording he’s scored the coolest summer job ever: rhythm guitarist for the reunited Replacements.

Starting with surprise appearance at Coachella in April where BJA helped the legendary 1980s Minneapolis shamble punk icons out by assisting ailing ‘Mats singer Paul Westerberg (who was laid low by persistent back problems), Billie has seemingly joined on as an unofficial fifth Replacement. (He also played with them at the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta in May.)

And, there he was again on Sunday at Louisville’s Forecastle Festival, playing rhythm guitar while wearing a blue and black striped blazer, black jeans and a grin a mile wide. It was one of those, “Wait, is that?…” moments for many in the crowd (including yours truly), as the giant screens on either side of the main stage showed a familiar-looking guy with jet black hair strumming away on such classic tunes as “I’ll Be You,” “Favorite Thing,” “Achin’ To Be,” Androgynous” and “Bastards of Young.”

Bobby Shmurda is on fire right now. His “Hot N—a” music video is quickly approaching four million views on YouTube and the shmoney dance that he shows off in the video is the hottest step in hip-hop.

The dance has spawned several Vines on the Internet, captivated parties from New York City to Miami and even helped the 20-year-old rapper to sign his deal with Epic Records. Last week, on July 16, MTV took Shmurda and his GS9 partner-in-rhyme, Rowdy Rebel, out to Fulton Mall in Brooklyn, New York to judge a shmoney dance battle.

Bobby’s version of the dance features him throwing his hat in the sky, swaying his hips back and forth and waving his hands in the air. “You could be doing your own shmoney dance, but as long as you got feeling in it and you’re confident 100 percent, you doing it,” he said.

Today in adorable odd-couple celebrity friendships: “Magic in the Moonlight” co-stars Emma Stone and Colin Firth are actually real-life besties who finish each other’s sentences, make fun of each other’s foibles, and text each other all the time while watching each other’s movies.

An interview with Emma and Colin from The Daily Beast offers a little peek into their friendship, which seems to consist primarily of Emma making fun of Colin Firth for… well, being Colin Firth, while Colin responds by stammering and/or blushing adorably. Among the best moments from the piece:

Firth: I backpacked through France and Italy in my teens, and then I was at Cannes with the first movie I did in ’84.

Stone: God… you were in a movie 115 years ago?

Firth: Oh God, here we go.

Also of note: The part where Emma watched “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason” and spent the entire time live-texting Colin a play-by-play of his performance in the movie, and the part where Colin turns the conversation to the magnificent topic of coldwater weenie shrinkage. Lady Gaga had a very special guest appear at her artRave tour stop last night in Los Angeles. And he came in the form of a giant, inflatable penis.

Mother Monster Instagrammed the magic early Tuesday morning (July 22) after Monday’s show at the Staples Center, writing: “And then this happened tonight ‘ oh lord for the LARR can I get an amen #Venus had a #Penis.”

“LARR” refers to the LA Rivington Rebels, the group who tweeted this video of Gaga singing “Venus” when the phallic balloon got up onstage. During the chorus, Gaga replaced “venus” with “penis.”

This makes me wonder: Whose humongous latex member is larger? Gaga’s or Miley Cyrus’? If you don’t remember, let me refresh your memory of the goings-on of Miley’s Bangerz Tour.

Ahhh! What would Madonna think, Gaga?

Wrestling ambitions, cell phones and sleeping pills are a dangerous combination, as Chris Pratt discovered during the filming of “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

The cast of the movie made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where Pratt’s co-star Dave Bautista shared the story of getting a late night text message from Chris. The text started out nicely enough, full of love and compliments for Bautista’s wrestling prowess — but then took a bizarre turn when Pratt began calling Bautista out and ultimately challenged him to a wrestling duel.

The only problem with this proposition — apart from the problem of said wrestling match inevitably ending very badly for Chris Pratt — was that Chris himself was blissfully unaware that he had offered himself up for a wrestling match.

“I had taken an Ambien! It was like a drunk text!” Pratt said.

Fortunately for all involved, the confusion was resolved without violence. And fortunately for fans of Chris Pratt, our beloved actor will not be torn into tiny pieces by a giant former pro wrestler anytime soon.
