Gwyneth Paltrow Speaks Out About Split With Chris Martin

It's only been a few days since the world learned that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, 37, have decided to end their marriage via

Apart from their joint statement on the split
neither have commented publicly, neither have made any additional comment so far. That is until Friday, when Paltrow broke her silence with a note tucked into a recipe titled "One Bird, Three Meals" on her Goop website.

"P.S. CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many," Paltrow, 41, wrote Friday morning (March 28) under a recipe handed down from grandmothers who "taught us the good old-fashioned art of not wasting a scrap."

According to reports, the couple left for holiday together in the Bahamas with their children, Apple, 9, and Moses, 7, just before the dissolution of their 10-year marriage was revealed.

Paltrow friend Cameron Diaz told E! News that the pair are, indeed, doing their best to be positive in the wake of the news. "For both Chris and Gwyneth, I mean they worked really hard. People want them to blow up and it to be ugly, but they're kind, generous, loving people who really care about one another," said Diaz.

"Just because they don't want to be a couple together, doesn't mean that they have to hate one another. They are really good friends. They've made a conscious effort to separate the part of their lives they don't want to live together anymore, and maintain a really beautiful, strong bond as parents and as friends...I think ...

Darren Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’: The Reviews Are In

The story of Noah is a familiar one on paper — floods ravage Earth, Noah and his ark filled with animals survive to start a new world — but Darren Aronofsky's vision of the biblical legend appears to be anything but straightforward.

Critics have praised the "Black Swan" and "Requiem for a Dream" filmmaker's newest movie, for its philosophical and visual ideas, comparing Aronofsky's ambitious new world to the scale of the "Lord of the Rings" series. Russell Crowe stars as the title character, described by some as the Oscar-winning actor's best performance in years. Of course, "Noah" didn't stay afloat for all reviewers, but even detractors appreciate Aronofsky's ambition.

Read on for more on what critics are saying about "Noah":

The Vision
"Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah' is not just one of the most ambitious films I've seen this year, it's one of the most ambitious films I've ever seen. It's a movie that is spilling over with ideas and images and emotional explorations of the metaphysical. It's a movie in which shamanic culture is part of the same tradition as fallen seraphim and blatant miracles.

It tells a story that is so familiar at this point that it has no impact whatsoever and tells it in a way that is constantly pushing and challenging the viewer. Whatever your idea of the story of 'Noah' is, Aronofsky, along with his co-writer Ari Handel, has found a distinct and different way into it, and what he's made is going to be worth conversation all year long." — Drew McWeeny, HitFix

Exclusive ‘Walking Dead’ Poster: Will Tyreese And Carol Arrive?

Will all who arrive survive? That's the big question going into Sunday night's season four finale of as all of the disparate stories finally converge on one location: Terminus.

At the moment, several characters are already at the potential safe haven: Glenn, Maggie, Tara, Sasha, Bob, Abraham, Eugene and Rosita. Elsewhere, Daryl has set up shop with the enigmatic Joe and his Claimers, while Rick Grimes leads Carl and Michonne along the train tracks toward Terminus.

Also in the mix: Tyreese and Carol, fresh out of "The Grove," where they leave behind the dead bodies of little Lizzie and her sister Mika. They're now back on the road and headed to Terminus. Will they make it there in time for the finale? That's the question on the mind of this new poster for the finale, which we can exclusively reveal:

Tyreese and Carol have already overcome enormous adversity on their own. They were forced to put Lizzie down after she killed her own sister. They were forced to confront the reality of Karen's death, with Tyreese ultimately forgiving (but not forgetting) Carol's actions.

But even through all of that, are Tyreese and Carol ready for what lies ahead? If popular theories pan out, and Terminus turns out to be less of a safe haven and more of an unsafe hell, then Carol and Tyreese will want to keep their sleeves rolled up — soon enough, it's going to be hammer time.

‘The Purge: Anarchy’ Trailer Debuts: Watch It Now

Some do it for fun. Some just try to survive. No matter the reason, the inevitability remains: there's a new "Purge" on the way.

The first trailer for has arrived online, bringing fans of the first "Purge" film their newest look at what happens to America when all crime is legalized for 12 hours once a year. Written and directed by James DeMonaco, the new "Purge" leaves behind the characters played by Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey, and focuses instead on a grander night of crime.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" actor Frank Grillo steps into the spotlight for "Anarchy," on a vengeance quest that isn't entirely explained in the trailer. Whatever Grillo's motivations are, it appears he has a soft side, as well. When a couple's car breaks down, leaving them vulnerable to the 12-hour free-fall of civilization, Grillo's character stops and helps them through the rest of the night.

"As long as we keep moving," he tells them, "we're going to be okay."

That's a bold statement to make, given the absolute pandemonium ringing throughout the crime-ravaged streets. Killers in masks run rampant, auctions are held for the social elite to bid on sin — all in all, it's an utter nightmare for anyone unlucky enough to be out and exposed to the whims of anarchy.

"The Purge: Anarchy" wreaks havoc nationwide on July 18.

‘The Raid 2’ Reviews Are In

Director Gareth Evans and star Iko Uwais have joined forces again for once again turning the criminal underworld of Jakarta on its head — and snapping every single bone in the process.

Unlike the first "Raid," the sequel escapes the close-confines of the crime-riddled tenement and bursts out into the various warring factions competing for control over Jakarta's criminal enterprises. With the walls expanded, Evans and Uwais flex their muscles with more relentless violence and gore than even the first film managed to muster. The enhanced action has dazzled many critics, but there are some who feel the blood-spurting carnage is too much mayhem to endure.

Read on for more of what the critics have to say about "The Raid 2":

The Story
"Uwais stars as Rama, the sole survivor of the first movie, and before he's even had a chance to rest up from his earlier ordeal, he gets a new assignment: go undercover behind bars and get ingratiated with Uco (Arifin Putra), the only son of crime boss Bangun (Tio Pakusodewo). After saving Uco's life on more than one occasion, Rama becomes Uco's tight confederate, and when Rama finally finishes out the multi-year sentence (talk about devotion to undercover police work), there's a job waiting for him in Bangun's empire.

Uco is itchy to get more responsibility, and Bangun's reluctance to hand the reins over to this vain hothead leads to problems — from Uco violating the fragile piece that Bangun has with the Japanese mob, to an all-out attempted coup that pits son against father. All the while, Rama tries ...
