Fashion magnate, J. Crew creative director and all-around Cool Chick Jenna Lyons guest starred on this week's episode of "Girls," titled "Free Snacks." (There were so many free snacks, but those will go unlisted for now. Suffice to say, we're the Sun Chips guy.)
This week, Hannah quit her job at Ray's in an un-classy fashion (tell us more about those talents, Han), starts a classy gig in sponsored content at GQ and then maybe-possibly loses that job, all the while listening to Lyons' monotone comments.
Hannah's project at the mag is compiling a "Field Guide For the Urban Male," described as "something like you'd find in a birdwatcher's manual, but funny. Not corny-funny, smart." (In reality, it's an advertorial tie-in for Neiman Marcus.)
Here are all the "types" of man pitched for the guide, with further description if provided.
»The Millennial Man's Man
» Mr. Midnight
» Gowanus Yachtsman
» Classic Dad (also known as Dad Classic or Kewl Dad)
"He's a dad but he's not trying to be like the coolest dad. But he's also like embracing vintage, Bill Cosbyish dadness, so that actually inherently makes him cool."
» The Kabbahler
"He is a little sleazy, you know, he's like out looking for sex, but he's wearing a Kabbalah bracelets, so he's a little spiritual. He'd, like, f--k some serious enlightenment into you."
"He's got, like, drawstring yoga pants, widow's peak like Justin Theroux."
» The Mod Hatter
"Like, a snappy dresser. Not like a hey look at me, I'm wearing a fedora or a porkpie hat."
