August Alsina Tells Us What Really Happened With Rich Homie Quan

August Alsina and Rich Homie Quan used to be cool — the two rising stars even collaborated together on "Ghetto," a track off of August's Downtown: Life Under the Gun — but things changed after a heated exchange backstage at an Atlanta concert on Christmas Day.

"This is my first and it's gonna be my last time ever speaking on homey," August told "RapFix Live" host Sway Calloway on Wednesday.

Alsina was short on details, but it was reported on VladTV.com that August grew upset when Quan's security team denied the New Orleans singer access to the stage to watch Rich Homie perform. After the performance, there was an altercation of sorts backstage and it was rumored that Alsina knocked out Quan — a rumor that Alsina denies.

"People were saying he got knocked out, I cleared that up, nobody got knocked out," Alsina said yesterday.

"I feel like nobody should switch up and when you switch up on me, I gotta problem with that," he continued in an attempt to vaguely explain. "We just had an issue, because a lot of people don't understand we're artists, but at the same time I'm a real person. I'm a human being and I'm a man, so don't disrespect me. So when that happened it gets personal for me."

Whatever occurred between the two seems to be a dead issue, at least on August's end. "It wasn't worth it and I wish him the best honestly," he said. "It's honestly sad to see so many black people do that with each other. We're ...

Chace Crawford Gleeks Out Over ‘Douchey’ New ‘Glee’ Role

Chace Crawford is going from "XOXO" to Slushie facials in an upcoming guest role on "Glee." The former "Gossip Girl" star is joining the cast for the 100th episode of the musical comedy, airing this coming March on Fox.

The actor will be taking on the role of Quinn Fabray's (Diana Agron) new arm candy Biff, a character Chace used choice words to describe. "I play, like, her douchey boyfriend from, like, the Northeast, so it's more of a character, it was a good time. [I did], like, four or five scenes, we had a blast," he told MTV News at the DIRECTV Beach Bowl on Saturday.

"It was great, it's funny, I know like 80 percent of the cast already, [the show's creator] Ryan Murphy calls up and is like, 'come on,' you know, and [my first question was] 'do I have to sing?' I'm like, 'I'm not singing, I can't sing.' Anyway, I'm not singing."

While he won't be showing off his vocal abilities — or lack thereof — he did give us his best Pearl Jam impersonation (you must watch the clip) and gushed over working with one of the show's stars.

"To be honest, I know, I know all of them, I did see Kristin Chenoweth (who plays April Rhodes), I love her, an Oklahoma girl, you know what I mean? We're OU fans, Boomer Sooner," Chace said about their admiration for Oklahoma University and its fight song.

While this will be Chace's "Glee" debut, don't expect to only see new faces. It was announced in December that the entire ...

How My Leather Jacket Ended Up On Tour With A Punk Band

My favorite little leather motorcycle jacket has been possessed by a wild spirit for over a year now. It has traveled the world, flipped off cops and just generally been the most bad-ass article of clothing ever.

Wednesday night, however, the jacket returned to me — via the possessor himself: punk rock cult legend and all-around hero, NOBUNNY.

Allow me to tell the tale.

I was already all dance-y and covered in sweat, waiting for the second opener to go on at Brooklyn venue Baby's All Right, when I heard my phone chime somewhere in the depths of my purse.

Digging it out — while narrowly avoiding being bowled over by a crowd of NOBUNNY devotees, one wearing ears and a tail — I was surprised to see the following tweet on the screen:

Figuring that Buns had seen me tweeting obsessively about the show, I figured he had left me a sticker or something. I was immediately ashamed that my rampant fandom had somehow been noticed, but headed to the merch table anyway because, hey, a gift is a gift and you don't look a gift bunny in the mouth. Or something.

I showed the tweet to the woman behind the table and watched a strange wave of recognition sweep over her face.

"Ah!" she said, reaching into a tub of shirts and things behind the table, then presented me with a large plastic baggie containing something black and heavy — I could also see some stickers and buttons and whatnot glinting through the bag.

"What is this?" I asked, squinting through the darkness ...

PREMIERE: See What Slothrust Has Simmering In ‘Crockpot’ Video

Ever look up from staring at photos of cats on the Internet while shoving in the Ramen and realize that you are truly and utterly alone?

Well, Brooklyn punk band Slothrust hears you — and they've channeled your lonely ennui into their new video for "Crockpot," off of their upcoming record, Of Course You Do.

"I guess something that I try to capture in the song a little bit — but I definitely don't feel like I fully convey — is the way that the grand state of society is sort of made to feel lonely and made to feel this forever-void," lead singer Leah Wellbaum told MTV News. "I don't feel like that feeling is really people's fault — it's like something that we're taught in society right now."

The video, directed by Adam Stone, aims to serve up that void in the form of a barrage of images culled from close to 300 films.

"The video sort of connects to that by relating to the way that we're force-fed imagery in culture — be it billboards or television or advertisements," Wellbaum said. "The way that those sort of subtly affect you and ultimately kind of end up numbing your brain in this way."

The video kicks off with the band sitting on the couch, zombied-out, as the images start flicking by. The parade of the banal and the bizarre creates a disturbing disconnect — one that the band mirrors by quipping about cats as well as warning, "Don't shake hands with the lonely kid because I hear that sh—'s contagious."

"Crockpot" — ...

Elsa In ‘Frozen’ Was Almost Based On Amy Winehouse

"

Those sisters, the cheery Anna and the haunted Elsa, have become the center of a pop culture phenomenon with young girls idolizing the pair, but one of them could have been very different, if early design ideas made it into the finished film.

Artist Claire Keane has been posting design work (via io9) she did on the early stages of development from "Frozen" and explaining some of the sources of her inspiration for Elsa. In the drawings from 2011, we can see two very different takes on the ice-manipulating princess. One pulls from Amy Winehouse's iconic updo, which Keane explained by writing, "I imagined her to have a deep, soulful voice and dramatic mood swings."

These drawings of Elsa came early in the production cycle for the Disney movie, so it's not surprising that audiences eventually saw something very different on the big screen. Animated movies usually go through a number of different concepts for characters before settling on the one they'll develop into a finished project.

Head over to Claire Keane's Tumblr to see other takes on Elsa, including one that was modeled off Bette Midler and as well as some unused concepts for Rapunzel in "Tangled."
