Will Katy Perry Cast A Grammy Spell?

Katy Perry is ready to cast a spell when she takes the stage at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 26). And, she's bringing along a rapper to help her bewitch the crowd. Katy will be joined by Juicy J to perform "Dark Horse," off her 2013 album Prism.

And, if you're looking for any sort of hints as to what's to come, Juicy isn't revealing anything about the performance. Like, nothing. At all. "You just got to see it, man," he shared with MTV News, telling us it'll be different from anything he's done as a rapper. "You just got to see it. It's gonna be a great, crazy performance... Yes, most definitely."

Looking for more insight? Well, in the hours prior to the broadcast, Katy had one final pre-performance tease for her KatyCats. However, she, too, kept it vague. "Tonight... a spell will be cast... Are you ready for it?! 🔮✨🌙 @TheGRAMMYs," she tweeted.

Perry has two nominations at the 2014 Grammys, including Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Roar." This marks Katy's fourth performance at the Grammy Awards. The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will go live on CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

LL Cool J: 11 Things You Didn’t Know About The Lip-Licking Grammy Host

My, has LL Cool J grown. Before Drake, it was LL who captured the hearts of female fans with rap love ballads, and before Kendrick Lamar was redefining rap's competitive line, it was LL who was ready to take on all challengers.

From music to movies, the Queens, New York, native has set a lasting impression on today's MCs and on Sunday, Ladies Love will set another benchmark as he returns to the 2014 Grammy Awards as a host for the annual ceremony for the third consecutive year.

To celebrate the feat, MTV News celebrates 11 things you may not have known about LL Cool J.'

The Five Most Important LL Cool J Hats

1. His First Movie Role Came Before His First Album

Thanks to a successful recording career, LL Cool J was able to make real strides in Hollywood, but the rapper landed a cameo in the 1985 movie "Krush Groove" a few weeks before his debut album was released.

2. He Licks His Lips, A Lot

LL is loved for his lyrics, but he's also known for licking his lips — a move the ladies really appreciate. During last year's televised portion of the Grammy Awards, the rapper/host licked his lips a total of 46 times. Yes, we counted!

3. He Has a 22 Percent Winning Record At The Grammys

LL has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards in his career and has won twice, in 1992 and 1997 for Best Rap Solo Performance.

4. He Used To Own A Piece Of Def Jam

LL isn't always celebrated for his business savvy, but he did ...

Macklemore And Ryan Lewis’ Grammy Performance Will Include 34 Marriages, Madonna And Queen Latifah

Macklemore's selfie collection is sure to balloon at tonight's (January 26) 56th Grammy Awards — with wedding snaps. During Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' performance of the Grammy-nominated "Same Love," the New York Times reveals, 34 couples will tie the knot.

According to the Times, couples will be from all walks of life — gay, straight, all ages and races — and performers will even get in on the action. Queen Latifah will officiate, and Madonna will join the duo and singer Mary Lambert for the performance.

Madonna's involvement was grinding through the rumor mills leading up to today's event, with Madge posting a photo to Instagram featuring a gold grill and a veil. Perhaps she'll dig out that famous VMA wedding dress for the event?

The idea first came about after Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich's daughter, who is gay, told her father about how couples often proposed onstage during Macklemore and Ryan Lewis concerts — given the fact that "Same Love" has become a kind of marriage equality anthem, according to the Times. When Ehrlich and the duo sat down to discuss their upcoming performance at the Grammys, he suggested they stage a full wedding.

The identities of the 34 couples are currently being kept under wraps, but Lewis did share that his sister Laura — who is already engaged to boyfriend, Alex — will be among those tying the knot tonight.

"I do not want to get my hopes up in any way, but I would be pretty psyched to win a Grammy," she told the Hollywood Reporter of her first trip to the big show. "I'm excited for everything that will go along with the day — seeing a bunch of my friends, dressing up, performing will be really fun. ... It sounds like prom on 'roids or something."

What else did we learn about Lorde from the Reporter chat?

Kanye's Late Registration Changed Her Life
"I remember staying up and listening to that on repeat," she said of 'Ye's second studio album. "There a lot of people whose careers I really admire and the kind of common specter amongst them were that they all had a good idea of who they were and where they wanted to go, which I admire."

Sure, you got to parties all the time. But trust us, you've never been, and probably never will be, at a blowout like music legend Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy gala. It's always the hottest ticket in Los Angeles the night before the Grammy Awards and this year was no different.

It had the usual assortment of amazing performances, including Lorde, A Great Big World, Creedence Clearwater Revival rock legend John Fogerty jamming with the Foo Fighters and Jennifer Hudson, R. Kelly debuting a tribute to Nelson Mandela and Miley Cyrus opening things up by taking a shot at the glam audience when they didn't show enough appreciation for "Get It Right."

"I hope ya'll feel better than ya'll look," she said according to a report, before downshifting into a song she thought they might appreciate more, her iconic cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene.""Robin Thicke brought out Pharrell and T.I., Imagine Dragons went unplugged, Fantasia drew howls of approval for her cover of "Stormy Weather" and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis killed during "Can't Hold Us" and "Thrift Shop."
