Eminem, Dr. Dre, Nas And More … Go Inside Beats Music’s Epic Grammy Party!

Beats Music served Spotify at their Friday night launch party ... which definitely took advantage of the talent in town for Sunday night's 56th Grammy Awards.

Seemingly all of the stars were in attendance at Los Angeles' Belasco Theater, a list that included the likes of Eminem, Beats honcho Dr. Dre, Macklemore, Nas, Diddy and more. And, in a unique nod to Beats' playlist powers, most of them also took the to stage, for a shuffling set list — each artist popped onstage to perform their biggest hit — that wowed the crowd.

And if you weren't lucky enough to be in attendance, well, don't worry: a whole bunch of folks were, and every single one of them had their phones out (lucky us!)

Diddy and Mase did "Mo Money Mo Problems," though they certainly didn't seem to be lamenting their status on Friday night.

Nas brought the ether and the artistry, ripping through "Nas Is Like" and "If I Ruled the World."

Ice Cube reminded everyone in the crowd that, yes, today was a good day.

Em and Dre joined forces to close the night out ... but why bother looking at them when you can watch their performance:

Yeah, it was a pretty epic night. The Grammys definitely have their work cut out for them ... and we feel you, Wiz. We wish we were there too.

14 Reasons Ed Sheeran Needs To Win Best New Artist Grammy

The Grammy Award for Best New Artist is one of the most competitive awards of the night, and this year, the nominees run the gamut from hip-hop to country to experimental.

With James Blake, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Ed Sheeran, and country singer Kacey Musgraves all in the running, it's anybody's trophy.

However, if it were solely up to me to decide the winner for Best New Artist at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, it would have to go to everyone's favorite redhead, Ed Sheeran. The talented singer/songwriter has taken the world by storm, and we aren't just talking about his music.

Need more proof? Here are 14 reasons why Ed Sheeran should win Best New Artist.

1. He Saves Kittens
We had to give a round of a-paws for Ed Sheeran, who saved an adorable kitten earlier this week. Ed took to Twitter to share the news that he adopted a cat, got him a bed, bought him some snacks and named him Graham. Ed then set up Graham with his own Twitter account where he's been posting selfies, taking pics with dad and just having "general kitten chat."

2. He's One Of The Sexiest Men Alive
Last year Ed was featured in People magazine's annual issue, and while most men may have found it flattering, Ed found it "quite funny."

"I don't know who the voting party are for People, but thank you. It's very kind. But I'm sure I'm the only person on this list who has a belly. Though I ...

Justin Bieber Breaks Twitter Silence …. In All Caps

A day after his highly publicized DUI arrest in Miami Beach on Thursday, Justin Bieber broke his silence with an Instagram comparing himself to Michael Jackson, accompanied by a caption referencing a lyric from another musical mastermind, Jay Z: "What more can they say."

Well, a few hours later, he had a few more words — this time for his Beliebers.

"YOU ARE ALL WORTHY NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS >> BE STRONG GOD IS WITH US ALL> MY BELIEBERS CHANGED MY LIFE> I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL," the pop singer tweeted on Friday (January 24). Moments later, he retweeted a fans' message that read, "YOU saved my life and everyday i am grateful to YOU. Never change for anyone. You are an amazing kind soul @justinbieber."

While his Beliebers have always been a loyal bunch, when news spread that the "Boyfriend" singer and friend Khalil Sharieff were caught drag racing -- apparently under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs -- they were a little more hesitant to stand behind him.

Early Friday morning, Bieber's father, Jeremy Bieber, took to Twitter as well, in a message that seemed to be directed to the press. Jeremy Bieber was reportedly with his son at the time of his arrest, and while he didn't confirm or deny those reports, he did use his message to clarify who the real "enemy" is.

"I can protect my kids, but I can't protect them from you and your lies," he wrote on Friday. "Believe in the truth not in the lies of the enemy. #reallife"
