Oprah Winfrey's already on her side, and after her Monday night hosting gig on "Chelsea Lately," it seems that more and more critics are rooting for Lindsay Lohan after the troubled actress left rehab last week.
Kevin Fallon of The Daily Beast described Lohan as "giggly and sharp" and noted that her appearance was used for just the right kind of PR move to prove that "Lindsay Lohan is alive again."
Entertainment Weekly writer Erin Strecker shared that Lohan delivered jokes about her own troubles and the personal lives of celebrities were with aplomb. "Lohan going the self-deprecating route has become expected, the appearance is noteworthy for her candid goofiness," Strecker wrote of the appearance, which saw the actress poking fun at Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Harry Styles and Kristen Stewart.
Elsewhere, on Twitter, fans couldn't help but show their support for Lohan. "Watching Lindsay Lohan's Chelsea Lately. She's doing so well guys. SO WELL," @ogoknessy tweeted.
Lohan thanked her fans for their support on Twitter as the good reviews continued to roll in. @allen9804 wrote, "Congrats 2 @lindsaylohan on @chelsealately, I was surprised and thought she did great and looked great, she was really funny & entertaining."
@gretch611 added, "@lindsaylohan you were amazing on Chelsea!!
