Michael Jackson's 15-year-old daughter, Paris, has been hospitalized in Los Angeles following a suicide attempt, her mother, Debbie Rowe, confirmed.

Jackson was taken to the hospital early Wednesday (June 5) morning, and though there are several conflicting reports, the Los Angeles County Fire department confirmed that 911 was called at 1:15 a.m. PT about a possible overdose. According to a report from "Entertainment Tonight," who spoke with Rowe, Paris reportedly had cuts on her wrists when authorities arrived.

Yet another source added that the teen attempted suicide after she learned she couldn't go to a Marilyn Manson concert at the Gibson Amphitheater on June 6.

Rowe told "ET" that her daughter has had "a lot going on [lately]." This month marks the four-year anniversary of Jackson's death; the pop icon died on June 25, 2009. Paris is one of Jackson's three children; she lives with older brother, Prince, 16, and younger brother, Blanket, 11, at the home of Michael's mother, Katherine Jackson.

MTV News has reached out to the Jackson camp for comment, but had yet to hear back at press time.

In the hours before the reported suicide attempt, the teen was on social media, sending out tweets, including a quote from the Beatles' 1965 song "Yesterday." She wrote, "Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay." She went on to add several other cryptic messages, including, "I wonder why tears are salty?" and "that conversation escalated quickly."

There's only a few hours left before Hunter Hayes takes the stage at the 2013 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night (June 5). The 21-year-old country star has some big plans for the high-profile gig, set to take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 Central) on CMT.

"It's great. This is a crazy week for us. This is a big performance. We're really stoked about this," Hayes told CMT during a rehearsal for the show. "We've been wanting to do this thing for a while, and finally getting the chance to do it is pretty awesome. And to get to play ['I Want] Crazy,' it's the perfect song for being outdoors and getting crazy."

The three-time CMT Music Awards nominee is also feeling the heat to put on one hot performance, joking, "Oh boy! No pressure!"

Once the show wraps up, Hayes has a busy next few months ahead of him. On June 18, he will release his album, Encore, and he is also dreaming up what's next for his live shows — which is fitting, considering he has a headlining jaunt locked in for later this year.

John Fogerty's Wrote a Song For Everyone debuts at #3, with sales of nearly 51,00 copies, followed by British pop act Little Mix, who sold nearly 50,000 copies of their DNA album. Blake Shelton rounds out the Top 5 with his Based on a True Story, which sold nearly 42,000 copies.

Weeks after Kelly Rowland showed the world her the former Destiny's Child member is opening up about what might have caused the rift between her and Beyoncé — the very one she references on her candid Talk a Good Game single.

In an interview with "Omg! Insider," the singer says it was she who "checked out for a minute" during their friendship, and that, these days, their relationship is as strong as ever.

"I think the people wanted those stories for years, and that's just so sad on them because it's not like that," Rowland said. "It's so crazy, and I just think it's so sad that we live in a world where people don't want to see women get along and encourage and empower each other, and that's what we do for each other.

"I love my sister, and she is so incredibly supportive — one of the closest people to me," the season three "X Factor" judge said. "I love her to death, and I love being an aunt [to B's daughter, Blue Ivy]."

At the top of the night, coach Blake Shelton was leading, with three contestants in the top six, and Adam Levine, Shakira and Usher were holding it down with one each.

After a duet by Shakira's Sasha Allen and Usher's Michelle Chamuel, it was announced that Usher's little spitfire was saved. This came as no real surprise, since Chamuel nailed both her performances Monday night, receiving an extended standing ovation from the audience.

As if that song's pro-party sentiments and electro-pop leanings didn't make the point abundantly clear, well, Miley is all grown up. Though, as she explained to MTV's cameras on the day of her single's debut, "We Can't Stop" is less about a reinvention as it is a revolution: She's getting ready to launch the next phase of her already amazing career; and she's doing it on her terms.

In "Man of Steel," actor Henry Cavill faced the challenge of reinventing perhaps the most iconic superhero of all time, Superman, for a new generation. But Cavill told MTV News that the only pressure he felt was what he put on himself, which is the same he would apply for any role he tackled.

"The pressure was obviously there," Cavill said. "I was aware of it. But I didn't want to acknowledge it because I'm going to put my all into every character I play — so there was always that pressure from myself."

Cavill suggested that spending time contemplating the enormous legacy of the character might have affected his ability to play him as effectively as possible.

"If I were to sort of acknowledge the worldwide pressure, it would probably negatively affect my performance," he said. "I'd be less efficient at telling my story than more efficient — and that was the most important, thing, doing justice to the character."

The film offers audiences a different kind of Superman — an alien raised on Earth who struggles to discover his identity. But Cavill said that the character is less about considering his potential as a hero and more about trying to find his place in a world where he can't get comfortable.
