‘Arrested Development’: First-Episode Cameo Had Jason Bateman Frazzled

Ever wonder if the cast of your current favorite zany workplace sitcom wandered onto the set of an already cancelled but still beloved sitcom? Well, that's what happened for a brief moment when the trio from Comedy Central's "Arrested Development."

Back in August, word first leaked that the boys from "Workaholics" would make a guest appearance on the show when Jason Bateman tweeted a picture from the "Arrested" set.

Since then, the twitpic left many fans wondering what exactly the trio were up to. Along with Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Ron Howard, Isla Fisher, Terry Crews, John Krasinski (just to name a few) as guest stars, fans were pleasantly surprised to find the crew from Rancho Cucamonga included in the "Arrested" mix.

That question was finally answered when the new season of "Arrested" premiered early Sunday (May 26) on Netflix. And even if you didn't stay up watching the entire 15-episode season, you only had to catch the opener to see what the "Workaholics" were up to.

With their trademark cracks and off-the-cuff dialogue, the boys didn't disappoint as behind-the-counter airline employees. They pop up toward the end of the episode giving down-on-his-luck Michael Bluth a hard time for trying to snag a copy of their in-flight magazine, which he's featured in, sans airplane ticket.

‘Star Wars: Episode VI’: What’s Its Legacy… And Its Future?

Thirty years ago, on May 25, 1983, George Lucas presented his third "Star Wars" movie — "Episode VI - Return of the Jedi" — to his legions of fans. They'd been waiting three long years since the previous film. Many of them were disappointed.

Directed by Richard Marquand and exec produced and co-written by Lucas, "Jedi" completed the trilogy-spanning conflict between the evil Empire and the noble Rebel Alliance. It ended with an epic battle fought in space and on land (the forest moon of Endor) that culminated in the deaths of both the Emperor and his fearsome protégé Darth Vader.

Eric Geller of TheForce.net theorized that "Star Wars" fans' disappointment in the third film had a lot to do with their love of the second one. "A lot of it is attributable to the post-'Empire Strikes Back' high and the expectations that movies would continue to be like that in 'Star Wars,' " he said. "I think it's really hard to even meet the expectations for a 'Star Wars' movie after the one that most people enjoy the most."

And then of course there's the Ewok issue. Many people just couldn't accept these new fuzzy characters into their Vader-hardened hearts, but they did play an important role in the "Star Wars" story. "It's a lesson about judging a book by its cover and about the expectations that you have when you're the dominant player in a particular area and how that pays off for the underdog," Geller explained. "In this case what we saw was, the Empire — the dominant ...

‘Arrested Development’ Season Four: Eight Things To Remember

Perhaps no other sitcom in television history has attracted as devout a following as "Arrested Development." The show followed the exploits of the chronically dysfunctional and morally iffy Bluth family... while trying to find an audience. The tight-knit group of viewers it did find loved the show passionately, quoting the many one-liners and laughing at every in-joke. But having an audience filled with people who could accurately recreate the family's many chicken imitations wasn't enough to please Fox; they wanted big ratings, so "Arrest Development" was canceled in 2006 after just three seasons and 53 episodes.

Times have changed over the last seven years, though, and now the entire cast has returned for a 15 episode fourth season, available all at once via Netflix starting on May 26th. Since it's been so long since we saw the Bluth clan in action, here's a list of eight things you need to know going into the show's very long-awaited fourth season. This is your refresher course on all of the seals, yachts, lies, secrets and illusions that will most likely prove integral to season four.

Michael And George Michael's 'Escape' To Cabo
Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) ended the series fleeing from his family on his brother's yacht with his son, George Michael (Michael Cera). The two escaped to Cabo, where, upon waking up the next morning, they discovered that Michael's father George Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor) had stowed away on the yacht (which was merely the latest in a long line of elaborate escapes the patriarch had made throughout the series).

Don't Forget About The SEC
But what ...

Nervo ‘Keep Changing’ Their Mind On Debut Album

NEW YORK — They are responsible for some big hit singles in recent years, but now twin sisters, Liv and Mim, otherwise known as Nervo, are focusing on one thing: themselves.

The Australian DJs, who are CoverGirl brand correspondents, are gearing up for a very busy summer, which includes traveling the world, a Las Vegas residency and working on their much-anticipated debut album.

"We are working on so much. We are trying to finish our album, so we are constantly in the studio," Liv told MTV News at the CoverGirl's BeautyREMIX event in New York City. "We also have a bunch of residencies around the world."

Those residencies include one in Ibiza and another at Las Vegas hot spot Hakkasan at the MGM Grand where they will no doubt be spinning their new single, "Hold On," a track made to get people on their feet and into the clubs.

If you're expecting to see what else the sisters have in store for their new music, you may have to wait a few more months because the duo is a bit indecisive when it comes to their tracks.

"Well, it's the never-ending album. We keep changing our mind," Liv said. "We feel like we have a bunch of material, and we'll write something else, and we are like, 'OK, this is where we want to take it.' So, I think there will come a time and be like, 'OK, these are the records, let's now finish them,' and hopefully we will ...

Mariah Carey’s ‘#Beautiful’: Miguel Reveals Naughty Hashtag Meaning!

For anyone wondering why Mariah Carey and Miguel decided to tack a hashtag onto the title of their breezy summer single, well Miguel has a very simple, if naughty, explanation.

"The hashtag in the title of this song is particularly fitting because the word that comes before 'beautiful' when I sing the chorus is an expletive that I can't say on air," he told MTV News, referring to the F-word he slyly delivers on the song's hook. "But the hashtag is particularly fitting for that expletive, if you just kind of pay a little bit of attention."

"#Beautiful" is the lead single off Carey's forthcoming studio album, but what caught some fans' attention initially is that the tune doesn't kick off with Mariah's signature vocals but rather Miguel's verse. But the R&B crooner said there was no controversy. He chalked it up to the superstar diva's musical vision.

"She has so much foresight and she was all about the sound and it being different and standing out," Miguel explained. "And I think that she's always been that way — she's always created music that's stood out."

The title of the track also perfectly encapsulates the process of working with the legendary vocalist, Miguel said. "She's incredible," he gushed. "She's not only a beautiful spirit, inside and out, she's just really talented. I couldn't even fathom how creative she really is and how fast her mind works. ... The fact that she had so much vision — enough to want to do the record as it was — and include me ...

Fat Joe Needed ‘Instagram’ Warning: ‘Joe, Don’t Do It’

You just don't get a 20-year rap career by doing the same old same. When Fat Joe da Gangsta dropped his debut album Represent in 1993, he was about the twice the size he is now and a rap murder machine, it's a far cry from the smooth-talking, hit-making rapper that he has become.

"I just feel I'm getting better," Joe said when he appeared on "RapFix Live" on Wednesday. "You gotta reinvent yourself. I just feel like I'm getting better when I play with flows, a lot of rappers can't even change their flows."

Over the course of the past year, Joe has linked with Kanye West ("Pride N Joy"), Chris Brown ("Another Round") — both for the first time in his career — for some pretty impressive results. On Thursday, Joey Crack found another new collaborator in Future. Together they created an auto-tune laced song for the ladies.

Joe says he is just having fun, but his fellow Bronx, New York, MC French Montana insists that the Terror Squad leader isn't giving himself enough credit. "You gotta stop being humble now. Too many hits, all right, too many hits. Fat Joe been dropping hits since he started," Montana interjected. "Don't be humble no more, you gotta let them know."

While it is true that Joe has amassed an impressive list of singles like "Lean Back," "What's Luv?" and "We Thuggin'," he doesn't always hit the mark. His 2012 Internet release "Instagram That Hoe" didn't go over so well. "I wish somebody would've told me, 'Joe don't do ...

Kendrick Lamar Digs Up ‘Hidden Messages’ In ‘Vibe’ Video

Kendrick Lamar has deep and deliberate messages in his music, but rather than explain his motivations he'd rather leave it up to the listener. So when MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway prodded about K. Dot's inspirations behind his latest video, the good kid tried his best to maintain the mystery.

"It's a few different hidden messages over there but the most obvious showing that even a grieving situation, your vibe can't be killed," Lamar said when he came offstage at this weekend's Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama. "There's other little intricate things in there, I like to leave it up to the viewers and the listeners."

The video appropriately opens in a church as the somber chords play under Kendrick's melodic declaration of his sins. "I am a sinner, who's probably gonna sin again. Lord forgive," he harmonizes.

After several beats pass, it becomes apparent that Lamar is attending a funeral, as he walks past several grievers wearing white and places his hand on a white casket before walking out of the church. In his conversation with Kendrick, Sway pointed out the similarities between the rapper's all-white funeral and West African Yoruba customs where death is celebrated as a transition into another life. "That was an idea," Kendrick confirmed, not giving up much else.

As far as the hilarious Mike Epps cameo, where the comedian baptizes Kendrick in a pool full of liquor: "That was just being funny. That was him being crazy," Lamar said. "I've always been a fan of him and that was just something right on ...

Zendaya’s ‘Crying’ Fans ‘So Sad’ About ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Loss

It was one of the most competitive seasons of "Dancing with the Stars" to date, but after three months of hard work and a lead going into the finale, 16-year-old Disney star Zendaya Coleman had to watch the coveted Mirror Ball trophy go to another deserving contestant, Kellie Pickler.

Coming in second place isn't getting the "Shake it Up" star down. She is more concerned with how her young fans — and dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy, who had to get 14 stitches after she elbowed him in the head during rehearsal — was handling the news.

"I was happy that I made it that far and I think that's the most important thing to take with me," Zendaya told MTV News. "I was more worried about my partner. Obviously, he had stitches. He's all banged up and all the fans at home that are crying their eyeballs out. All my little fans are so sad. Parents are tweeting me, talking about 'My daughter's is crying she doesn't want to go to school because she's upset you didn't win.' "

Zendaya, who was the youngest contestant to ever compete on the show, said she will miss Val now that the season has ended, and she'll never forget the special bond she created with her fellow competitors.

"When it comes to other contestants, everyone does get really close. You really feel for each other because you know what you're going through," Zendaya said. "It's not like a competition where people hate each other; we are all in it together."
