Psy Breaks Down ‘Gentleman’ Video, Frame By Frame

By now, you've heard Psy complain that the week he released his smash hit was ever" and call himself in the music video.

But you probably don't know the backstory behind the video itself ... and, frankly, neither did we. So we sat down with Psy as he watched the "Gentleman" clip, and broke it down for us, frame-by-frame. And right off the bat, he shared what he believes to the the true secret to its success.

"This is the first time I've gotten to say my reaction to my video, and, wow, he's an a--hole. And he thinks he's sexy," Psy laughed. "[It's] so stupid. And now, we're dancing at the library, [so it's] stupid in a row. I love that!"

Stupidity aside, there are plenty of nods to his other huge hit, — "We shot this in multiple shops, and they are all in [the] Gangnam [District]," Psy said — and the Korean music scene ... including the inclusion of the so-called "Arrogant Dance" made popular by K-Pop group Brown Eyed Girls.

"The dance is called 'Arrogant Dance,' and it's a dance plus an attitude. It's new moves to the world, but in Korea, a girl group did it before, and it was very famous," Psy explained. "So I thought 'Oh, we have a lot of catchy moves in K-Pop, so I can remake it and bring it to the world.' The group's name was Brown Eyed Girls, and one of the girls is in this video."

And while "Gentleman" doesn't feature quite as many, ...

‘American Idol’ Castoff Amber Holcomb, Judges React To Thursday’s Elimination

bid adieu to Amber Holcomb on Thursday night's show, a result that wasn't really all that shocking considering she was firmly entrenched in the bottom two last week, and needed a ton of votes this week just to survive.

So when MTV News spoke to Holcomb backstage following her elimination, she was taking it in stride; in fact, she'd basically been preparing for it since wrapping up performances on Wednesday.

"Through the night, I was like 'You know, whatever happens, I'm going to be proud of my position.' Fourth? Out of thousands? That's amazing," she said. "Now, I'm ready to go on the 'Idols' tour, and just experience that and perfect that, and work on my future. Until then, I'm going to get to sleep, drive my far, see my best friend, and then sleep some more!"

And those sentiments were echoed by two of Holcomb's biggest supporters ... "Idol" judges Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, both of whom were sad to see her go, though not exactly shocked that she was sent home.

"I think based on the previous week's voting, and how she's often been near the bottom, has said something about the way she's connecting, or not connecting, through the camera, for whatever reason," Urban said. "We've all been supportive of her since day one, and have often been mystified by why she hasn't connected the way that she does with us."

Of course, as Minaj added, it doesn't matter that Holcomb came up short in her quest for the season 12 title; she's already a star in ...

He was in Atlanta on Thursday, where he pled guilty to charges associated with his DUI arrest that same night, the site further reports. While the actress wasn't present, she pled no contest to her disorderly conduct charge with her lawyer representing her.

Toth was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, must attend an alcohol education program and will be on probation for 12 months. People further reports that he was also ordered to pay a fine in connection with his punishment. As for Witherspoon, she will pay a $213 fine for refusing to stay in the car the night of the incident.

‘Iron Man 3’ Aims To Smash Into Top Five Debuts Of All Time

The #1 movie in most of the world is about to grab the box-office crown in North America. Thus far, has beaten last year's kickoff of overseas, but will it do the same thing here?

The superhero sequel has already beaten the total international gross for 2008's "Iron Man," the movie that started it all for Marvel's Phase 1, which eventually led to the third biggest movie of all time, "The Avengers." "Iron Man 3" debuted with nearly $200 million last week and had made $307.7 million as of Wednesday. The total overseas gross for the first "Iron Man" was $267 million; "Iron Man 2" made $312 million overseas in 2010, which "Iron Man 3" will soon surpass.

As for the superhero sequel's landing in North America, Robert Downey Jr.'s third outing as billionaire inventor Tony Stark is expected to make somewhere between $150 million and $175 million, according to different reports. That won't be enough to match the record-breaking $207.4 million of last year's "Avengers" flick, which united the namesake heroes from "Iron Man," "Hulk," "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger."

But "Iron Man 3," which has received better reviews than its predecessor, could easily land in the top five debuts of all time (not adjusted for ticket price inflation). Aside from riding wave of last year's team-up, "Iron Man 3" also features Sir Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin, Iron Man's primary adversary in Marvel Comics mythology. Kingsley recently explained his approach to the character to MTV News: "[He has] such calmness, and such belief ...
