Demi Lovato got all rocker glam at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 11) night. And she brought along pal Nick Jonas for “Made In The USA.”
Jonas used his adrenaline from winning the Acuvue Inspire Award (for his work with diabetes awareness and research) to take to the drum kit, sporting a black-and-white American flag T-shirt.
Demi came out in full rockstar apparel — a leather jacket, leather pants, high-heeled boots and a New Order T. Of course, her hair was teased high with dark smoky eye to complete the look.
Smoke spurted from the back of the stage as she belted out, “No matter how far we go, I want the whole world to know/ I want you bad, and I won’t have it any other way.” She belted the high notes with confidence, soaring over the celebrity-strewn audience. Her ad-libs were effortless as they glided from note to note.
She held the mic over her adoring fans who lined the stage, asking for their take on the lyrics. The Lovatics screamed and sang as Demi encouraged them, mouthing the words right along.
Lovato, who is also up for Best Female Video for “Heart Attack” at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, won Choice Female Artist, Choice Single from a Female Artist for “Heart Attack” and Choice TV Personality from her work on the “X Factor” panel.
