Gleeks should expect lots of “stinky panic sweat” when Demi Lovato joins “Glee” this week. The “Heart Attack” singer kicks off her run on the show Thursday night (October 3), and it looks like she’s about the shake things up in a big way.
Ahead of her appearance, MTV News has rounded up everything we know about Demi’s upcoming role on “Glee.” Ready, set, Gleek out!
She’s Going To The ‘Dark Side’
Demi plays a New York-based artist named Dani, who’s friends with Lea Michele’s Rachel. We already know that Naya Rivera promised to take Demi to on the show. We hope things don’t get too dark, since Santana’s first sight of her beauty makes her really nervous.
Love At First Sight?
During Demi’s first episode, it’s pretty clear that Santana has an instant attraction to her. And, yes, the two will lock lips this season and serenade one another with the Beatles classic,
She’s Not The Only New Face
In addition to finding love, Dani will also be making some new pals, including Michele and Chris Colfer. Oh, yeah, she’ll also eventually get to hang with fellow new Gleek, Adam Lambert. From a previously teased still, it looks like the crew will all be starting a band in NYC.
She ‘Loved’ Representing The LGBT Community
Previously, Demi opened up to MTV News about tackling a LGBT character on the show and wanting to get it right. “Well I took a meeting so before I even booked the role. I knew what the role was going to be, and [Naya and I] had an awesome time working together,” Lovato said. “Figuring out how to represent that community… it’s been pretty awesome to represent that on primetime TV.”
