Drake has seemed like a natural all night onstage hosting the ESPY Awards — from delivering his jokes, to pre-taped skits to the few times he danced. But never was he in his comfort zone as much as during his performance of two parody songs specially written for the show.
“Honorable Mention” and “Side Pieces” (with a guest spot from Brian McKnight) may have been written as jokes — poking fun at runners up in sports and, well, side pieces, respectively — but they were seriously good. Seriously. Give ‘em a listen yourself.
