In past years, Spike TV’s Video Game Awards have been the place for the biggest reveals of some of the year’s biggest games. That experience is now evolving into something even more massive this year, while still delivering the same killer exclusives.
VGX is an all-day, game-focused experience that will come straight to gamers, bringing the exclusives from some of the next generation’s hottest games, including “Titanfall,” “Quantum Break” and “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.”
On top of that, there will also be a one-time-only special performance of music from the “Grand Theft Auto V” soundtrack, including artists featured on the in-game radio and samples from the score.
The all-day online celebration will feature an appearance from “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The duo will be on hand to show off an exclusive look at the upcoming game based on the popular Comedy Central show “Show Park: The Stick of Truth.” The hotly anticipated RPG follows Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman and continues their parody of fantasy movies like “Lord of the Rings.”
With VGX being an event specifically for gamers, you’ll be able to catch the exclusive- and preview-packed proceedings on a ton of different platforms. So you can watch VGX on PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Twitch, Hulu, Yahoo, Steam, Spike.com, ComedyCentral.com, MTV.com, MTV2.com, BET.com and GameTrailers.com.
The VGX live stream begins on Saturday, December 7 at 6 p.m. ET and 3 p.m. PT on all of the platforms listed above, so to see the exclusive previews, demos, and interview, be sure to tune in then.
