Future has friends in high places. The Atlanta hitmaker has helped craft unforgettable singles for Lil Wayne, Rihanna and DJ Khaled, and now that he is readying the release of his sophomore LP, Honest, you can bet Future Hendrix has an all-star cast ready to return the favor.
The Astronaut Kid made an appearance on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday (October 2) and revealed to show host Sway Calloway two very notable features: Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus.
“I worked with Miley Cyrus when we were working on her project, for her album,” he said. “I was doing some records in Vegas and Mr Hudson sent a hook back he did on a Mike Will track. He played it for Miley and she wanted to be a part of it, so I’m putting the record on my album also.”
Future revealed that the record is titled “Real and True,” but he didn’t stop there. After a game of Truth or Dare, where he refused to confirm whether he’s ever worked with Andre 3000, Future took the dare: He had to reveal another Honest feature.
“Nicki Minaj,” he blurted out, confirming that she’ll appear on a track called “Rock Star Life.” “Nicki Minaj is dope,” he said. “We’ve worked in the studio together, but that particular record she wasn’t in the studio.”
So far Future has released the album’s first single, which is also titled “Honest,” and its street single “Sh–.” On October 18, Future will hit the road with Drake for his Would You Like a Tour run.
