‘Game of Thrones’: Do These ‘First Of His Name’ Preview Pics Contain Spooky Spoilers?

Game of Thrones” has been on fire this season… and not just because of all the dragons, because they breathe fire, get it? The show has also sparked numerous discussions, ratings have grown every episode and even book fans are shocked by all the twists and turns.

This week’s episode remains, as usual, shrouded in secrecy, but HBO has provided five pictures previewing the episode which might spoil a big twist. Here’s what we can suss out based on the pics:

Pedro Pascal, Lena Headey

It is interesting to see Cersei (Lena Headey) conspiring with Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal), mainly because Oberyn hates the Lannisters. Could she be trying to get the Red Viper of Dorne to turn against his friend, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage)? And who is that fuzzy figure in the background… It couldn’t be a ghost, could it?

Maisie Williams

Arya (Maisie Williams) has her sword Needle back, and seems to either be facing someone down, or training with it. Could The Hound (Rory McCann) be working with Arya in some sort of Rocky/Mickey type arrangement? Are we going to see Arya finally make it to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art this episode?

More importantly, it’s interesting that we can’t see who she’s fighting, almost like they were invisible, like some sort of ghost.

Emilia Clarke

Hm, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) sure seems pale here. Perhaps she’s a little sick, or a ghost? That’s it, she’s probably a ghost.

Charles Dance

Tywin (Charles Dance) on the other hand looks to be partially in the shadows, which suggests he’s not a ghost. Unless it’s a twist, and we’re supposed to think he isn’t ghost, but he’s actually a ghost. Honestly there’s too many secret ghosts in this show, it’s way confusing.

Sophie Turner

We’re calling it: Sansa (Sophier Turner) is a ghost. Big spoiler, you guys. BIG spoiler.

[Editor’s Note: in case you’re way behind on this show, none of these people are ghosts. We’ll have a more accurate run-down on Sunday]

“Game of Thrones” airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO. Photo credit for the Headey/Pascal pic is Macall B. Polay/HBO; all others are Helen Sloan/HBO.
