One of the greatest parts of New York Fashion Week, IMHO, is watching celebs as they traipse from show to show and party to party in different outfits. They wear more outfits in a week than I wear in the course of the year and look cool, calm, and collected the entire time. If you’ve been keeping up with us, you’re well aware that Nicki Minaj has been ruling NYFW–here’s a look at her fashionable seven days.

To kick thangs off, Nicki attended the Harper’s Bazaar Icon Party–the same one Lady Gaga performed at–in a burgundy Marc Jacobs dress.

The following day, she attended the Alexander Wang show in a two-tone top and skirt. She held an impromptu photoshoot on the inside of her car and shared the results on Instagram. She also, as we all know by now, taught models from the Wang show “Anaconda” choreography which, um, the models didn’t exactly take to naturally.

On Sunday, Nicki hung out with Donatella Versace and Naomi Campbell in a Versus Versace dress. OK, she was actually doing more than “hanging”–she was at the show and after-party, but because I want these three women to be best friends who watch movies together, I’ll bill them as “hanging” until the end of time.

While someone took off all of his clothes at Fashion Rocks, Nicki wore not one, but two different outfits. On the red carpet, she wore a Saint Laurent dress with a low ponytail.

Onstage–at least, before her performance was cut–Nicki switched into a high ponytail and a sequin and denim outfit. I was there IRL (where I saw Justin Bieber’s basically-nude bod), and Nicki made rapping and dancing in denim and sequins look like NBD. As someone who wears jeans while trying to memorize the lyrics to “Anaconda,” I can confirm it is not an easy task.
This is the first Fashion Week for the toned-down Nicki Minaj of recent months and it went off without a hitch. Subdued Nicki continues to slay.
