In honor of Memorial Day, Monday night’s Tonight Show featured the most patriotic of activities: a cooler scooter race between “X-Men: Days of Future Past” star Hugh Jackman and host Jimmy Fallon.
“What’s more American than beating an Australian in a cooler scooter race?” Fallon asked.
The answer: Not beating an Australian in a cooler scooter race, apparently, because rather than winning one for the good ol’ U.S.A., Jimmy ended up eating Hugh’s dust. And so he was defeated, and the day was lost, and the beverage that flowed from Jimmy Fallon’s beer helmet tasted like sadness, and kangaroos.
