With the 2013 Video Music Awards just a few hours, tonight at 9 p.m. ET, everyone and their grandpa is trying to get to Brooklyn and the Barclays Center, including Johnny Knoxville, who is looking more and more like a creepy, old man these days.
That’s because Knoxville has a new character he’s bringing to the big screen in “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa,” a narrative-driven prank show and a new format for the famous trouble maker.
In the lead-up to “Bad Grandpa” and the 2013 Video Music Awards, MTV News has a brand new exclusive poster from “Bad Grandpa” and a special look at Knoxville’s attempt to make it to the Barclays Center on time.
The poster shows Knowville as his new character Irving Zisman, a horny, clumsy old man that’s going to find himself in a bunch of inappropriate circumstances on October 25, when “Bad Grandpa” opens in theaters. He’s joined by Jackson Nicoll, who plays Irving’s grandson Billy, and he holds the boy up by his underwear while, of course, holding a six pack.
They dynamic duo also stars in a new promo for the Video Music Awards, where they try to find a ride to the show after their car breaks down. Luckily, an ice cream truck pulls and offers to give them a ride the rest of the way. What they weren’t expecting was to find VMA nominee Robin Thicke in the back of the truck with a number of his “Blurred Lines” girls, much to Irving’s delight.
Make sure to check out the 2013 Video Music Awards tonight at 9 p.m. ET with special performances by Thicke, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kanye West, and many, many more!
