Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour, Citing ‘A Big Disagreement’

It looks likes it’s (lines, vines and) trying times for the Jonas Brothers. The band has canceled their tour, which was scheduled to kick off Friday in Pennsylvania.

A rep for the band confirmed that the 19-date tour, which would have ended on November 6 in Seattle, has been canceled due to “a deep rift within the band. There was a big disagreement over their music direction.”

Nick, Joe and Kevin had been tweeting about the trek as recently as October 7. Their rep had no further information for MTV News, but fans should take note that tickets will be refunded.

After pursuing some solo projects and interests, the guys had been staging a comeback in the last year after they took the stage for their big reunion show at Radio City Music Hall in NYC last October.

“It feels really good,” Kevin, shared with MTV News at the time. (Kevin is expecting his first child with wife and fellow reality TV star, Danielle.) “It’s been a long time coming. We’ve all been doing some individual stuff and on our own journeys, but now we’re coming back together and the show’s kind of the kick off to that.”

Since then, the guys also released two singles earlier this year, and both of which were expected to appear on their next album, V. A release date for the album was never confirmed. The rep further tells People that the future of the band “remains to be seen” and added that it’s all about “creative differences” in the band.
