Jay Leno has plenty of help signing off from “The Tonight Show” for the second, and, allegedly, final time Thursday night. In addition to drop-ins from a singing Kim Kardashian, Jim Parsons, Jack Black and Oprah, a video montage featured advice from Miley Cyrus, Matt Damon, Steve Carrell, Olivia Wilde, Mark Wahlberg and Charlie Sheen.
But the lovefest continued online once Leno finished his teary goodbye, with well wishes from a bunch of stars who appeared on the show over the past two decades.
“Much love to the one and only @jayleno,” wrote Justin Timberlake, who thanked Leno for all the good times … and begged the well-remunerated host and renowned car buff for one of his many, many classic whips.
Britney Spears also weighed in, saying, “#tbt Being interviewed by the amazing @jayleno,” thanking him for all the smiles and posting an adorable pic of the pair.
Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles had just one word for the late night stalwart, “Wow.”
All the way from the Jersey Shore, Snooki thanked Leno for being the “sweetest” and booking her on the show for the past four years.
Even President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama took some time out to help Leno ease into TV retirement, posting pictures of themselves with the comedian.
