Katy Perry had a little treat for her fans on Monday. The singer revealed the track list for her October 22 album release, Prism.
The 16 songs on the deluxe album include previously released tracks like (featuring Juicy J), and her feisty lead single, as well as 13 other tracks that fans will only have to wait a few more weeks to hear.
The same day she revealed the deluxe track list, she also took the stage in the U.K. for the last day of the iTunes Festival. She appeared at the Roundhouse in London, where among her hits (according to a reported set list) she also played several songs off Prism, including “By the Grace of God.”
She was joined by longtime collaborator Greg Wells and shared, “We’d like to play you the first song that we wrote when coming back to make a new record in November 2012. We wrote this song together.” She then launched into the revealing, piano-driven ballad.
“Was 27 surviving my return to Saturn/ A long vacation didn’t sound so bad/ Was full of secrets locked up tight like iron melting/ Running on empty, so out of gas,” she sings on the opening lines of the track. “Thought I wasn’t enough/ Found I wasn’t so tough/ Laying on the bathroom floor/ We were living on a fault line/ And I felt the fault was all mine/ Couldn’t take it anymore.” Track list for Katy Perry’s Deluxe issue of Prism, according to iTunes: » “Roar”
