Kanye West liked it and put a 15-carat ring on it. So how is Kim feeling about the San Francisco proposal in front of family and friends?
“Last night was truly magical!!!” she told E! on Tuesday about the engagement. On Monday, those closest to the couple gathered at AT&T Park as Kanye popped the big question to Kim.
“I am the luckiest girl in the world!” she continued. “I get to marry my best friend!”
Prior to the proposal, Yeezy sat down with San Francisco radio station 106 KMEL. During the interview, he praised Kim, who he called “the #1 socialite in the world.”
“I’ve never loved any girl other than my mother as much as I love my girlfriend,” he said. “And I’m so happy to be with her, for us to live this life together and with our relationship with God to be able to live forever in heaven together too. And also to raise a strong family. It communicates truth and beauty and we have a good time while we’re doing it just by being creative.
“This girl is one of the #1 designers in the world… She’s been spending her whole check on clothes since she was 16, just like me,” he continued. “That’s the reason why the both of us are the most influential.”
During the chat, Kanye was asked if he had any plans to marry Kim, but he kept his proposal under wraps, only sharing, “I’m not answering none of those questions. Yeah, I’m just not answering.”

The fireworks-filled engagement fete, which, according to our estimates, cost more than $1.5 million dollars if you include the Lorraine Schwartz sparkler in the overhead, included a 50-piece orchestra that played Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” as well as one of Kanye’s own collaborations; the Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Yeezy track, “Knock You Down.”
As if that wasn’t enough the rapper even had the words “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” splashed across the jumbotron before fireworks went off when Kim said “yes.”
This is the third marriage for Kim and first for Kanye. The couple has a daughter, North, who was born in June.
