Kris Jenner promised back in mid-July that Kim Kardashian “can go out anytime she wants.” Well the time had finally come for Kim, who gave birth to her daughter North in June, to make her big television debut since becoming a mom.
The momentous occasion took place on Friday (August 2) during an episode of her mom’s talk show, “Kris.” The appearance, which was a pre-taped video message courtesy of rapper Diddy, is the first TV appearance Kim has made since giving birth.
In the short but sweet clip, she tells her mom, “I just wanted to say congratulations on your new show. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person. But I’m just loving life a little bit too much at home right now. But I watch you every single day and you are so amazing. You really are born to do this. So I just want to say I love you and have an amazing show.”
The video may have left her mom crying tears of joy, but probably left fans wanting more. It didn’t show off any of Kim’s post-baby body, but instead was a tight shot of her face. Viewers and Kardashian-philes alike were alerted to Kim’s appearance on Twitter shortly before the show aired, when the new mom wrote, “Getting ready to surprise my mom on @krisjennershow today!!!! You ready NYC? Tune in!” It has been long rumored that Kim would make an appearance on her momager’s show this summer.
Back in July, Us Weekly reported that Kim wanted to show off her post-baby body on Kris’ show. That body, however, remains unseen.
