Kristin Chenoweth And Lea Michele Team Up For An Epic ‘Wicked’ Duet

On Saturday night (June 21), living Broadway legend and font of ever-flowing perkiness Kristin Chenoweth was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame, along with Pink Martini and The Go-Go’s. After performing “I Could Have Danced All Night” from “My Fair Lady” and “Popular” from “Wicked” — Chenoweth originated the role of Glinda on Broadway, FYI — the honoree was joined onstage by “Glee” star Lea Michele to duet another selection from the “Wizard Of Oz”-inspired musical, “For Good.”

Before they began to sing, Michele recounted what an inspirational figure Chenoweth has been to her, not to mention what a joy she was to work with on “Glee.” The “Cannonball” singer also shared a story about how Chenoweth comforted her following the passing of her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith: “Last summer, I got an email from Kristin, and she said that ‘Music will heal everything.’ And at the time, I really didn’t quite get how that could be possible, but it really did. And so, a year later, to be here on this stage singing with her is such a blessing and such an honor.”

And you thought you were gonna get through Sunday without shedding a single tear, didn’t you?
