One of Lecrae’s defining factors is that he doesn’t fit into preconceived norms. This has been true both musically — as an artist who puts his faith first, and shies away from the materialistic and misogynistic content rampant in rap — as well as in his personal life — as a dude whose “church clothes” may not match the rest of the congregants.
It looks like he’ll be continuing on that path with his seventh solo album, Anomaly, which is set to arrive in August.
To help promote the news of the album, which will be his first since 2012′s Gravity, the Reach Records rapper enlisted a few star athletes to spread the message on Tuesday (June 3). Both Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin and Oakland Raiders defensive end Justin Tuck shared similar photos to the one ‘Crae posted.
