It seems as if Lindsay Lohan is on the fast-track to a comeback.
Lohan, who earlier this week was released from a rehab facility after completing three months of a court-mandated treatment, recorded her guest-hosting gig on E!’s late night show, “Chelsea Lately” which airs Monday.
According to a source close to the production, Lohan arrived to the set on time and after impressing crew during rehearsals, was able to film her opening monologue in one take. During the monologue, Lohan was interacting with the audience and in a self-deprecating manner, took a few jabs at herself, reportedly saying she had “been on a 90-day court ordered vacation.”
Lohan appeared wearing an all-black ensemble with sky-high pumps, seeming at ease among a roundtable of fellow comedians Brad Wollack, Jen Kirkman and Fortune Feimster. In a clip posted by E! Lohan is seen poking fun at One Direction’s Harry Styles after he was questioned about being bisexual by British GQ, stating she’s “been there.” The comment got not only a raucous laugh from the comedians, but the audience as well.

Following the taping, the “Canyons” actress graciously took photos with the show crew and thanked the audience.
The guest-hosting gig at “Chelsea Lately” is just the beginning for Lohan, who after several rough years, is trying for a career comeback. Lohan’s flick “The Canyons,” directed by Paul Schrader opens Friday (August 2) and is generally gaining positive reviews. Next up, Lohan will be sitting down for a highly anticipated interview with talk-show mogul Oprah Winfrey, which is slated to air this month. Following the interview, Lohan will be filming an eight-episode docu-series for Winfrey’s OWN network, which is scheduled to air in 2014.
