Mr. Scarface is back.
Three months after the legendary Geto Boy ended a substantial musical drought with “No Problem,” he’s back with a new single, “The Exit Plan.”
Buoyed by a sinister Cardiak-produced beat, the sage poet from Houston dispenses street wisdom from an OG perspective.
“And broke motherf–kas make the best crooks, every n—a in the way gettin’ shook/ You got to play the game by the book, or f–k around and your life gettin’ took,” he raps.
Riding shotgun with ‘Face is the prolific hook man Akon, who delivers his signature falsetto between verses.
“Cause I ain’t never change on you motherf–kas/ An OG spittin’ game on you motherf–kas/ You should be ashamed like a motherf–ka,” he croons.
“The Exit Plan” will likely end up on Scarface’s upcoming LP, Deeply Rooted.
