Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Rihanna are totally hanging out in San Francisco this summer — and it looks like Leonardo DiCaprio will be bro’ing down as well.
Well, at least they’ll be bro’ing down in effigy; the trio of stars will live forever in wax at the soon-to-be-opened Madame Tussauds wax museum on Fisherman’s Wharf.
The Madame’s new digs don’t open until June 26, but Mashable caught a sneak peek at the goods this week, feasting eyes on a smiling wax Zuckerberg, barefoot in the lotus position, toting a computer (cleverly non-branded). The Facebook founder joins fellow tech stars Steve Jobs and Bill Gates in Madame Tussaud’s collection of stiffs.
According to Mashable, Zuckerberg didn’t sit for the figure. It took 20 artists several months to construct his hoodied form, and his hair, which is real, by the way, was inserted strand by strand. Looks like both the real and faux Zuckerberg are true mold-breakers.
How many Facebook profile snaps do you think will include waxy Zuckerberg come summer? I’m guessing legion. Meta.
