Miley Cyrus wants to clear something up: That R-rated onstage rant wasn’t about her ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, it was just that she was suffering from a case of being “tooooo turnttttt up.”
In addition to riding a giant inflatable pink penis, Miley caught everyone’s attention when a video surfaced of the singer going off on a particular “motherf–ker that broke my heart,” at London’s G.A.Y. club before launching into her hit single, “Wrecking Ball.”
The pop star took to Twitter on Tuesday (May 13) to make it publicly known that her comments were not about her former longtime love; it was just meant to “rile up the boys.”
Shortly after she added that although she doesn’t usually respond to “tabloidy stuff,” she said she didn’t want something untrue to be making the rounds since “it sounded hateful but not what I meant.”
She concluded her Twitter comments by adding that she doesn’t want “hateful things being said about those I care about” and gives one more reason as to why she got caught up in the moment: “I was just tooooo turnttttt up.”
