One Direction fans got upset at Paramore’s Hayley Williams after she tweeted that the beginning of 1D’s new single, “Steal My Girl,” sounded a lot like the piano part in New Found Glory’s “It’s Not Your Fault.” Her boyfriend, New Found Glory’s guitarist Chad Gilbert, had to deal with a similarly vicious blowback after he tweeted the same idea. After getting buried in a ton of angry Directioner tweets, Gilbert later said he was just joking.
