Paul Walker Remembered With Touching MTV Movie Awards Tribute

After a heartfelt and tear-inducing introduction by longtime “Fast & Furious” costar Jordana Brewster, actor Paul Walker was remembered at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards with a moving montage of his most memorable movie roles, including a short clip of his 2002 Golden Popcorn win for Best On-Screen Team.

“He was humble. He thought about others,” Jordana said, referencing many of his philanthropic endeavors, including tagging great white sharks for research purposes. “He never asked for credit or glory. He was just a really good guy.”

Vin Diesel narrated the montage video, which featured clips from Walker’s roles in films like “Varsity Blues,” “Pleasantville” and multiple movies in the “Fast & Furious” franchise. It also featured photos and video from Walker’s philanthropic work, particularly the foundation he started, Reaching Out WorldWide (ROWW), which provides disaster relief to areas devastated by storms and other natural disasters.

“The world saw his magic onscreen,” Diesel said. “Yet I wish the world could have seen how special a brother he was.”

Walker died November 30, 2013, in a high-speed car crash in Santa Clarita, California.
