What in the world are Rihanna and A$AP Rocky up to?
Rih Rih and Rocky were spotted filming what appeared to be a music video on Thursday (August 15), leaving fans wanting to know more about the potential collaboration.
They were reportedly joined by A$AP Ferg and A$AP Illz during the shoot that took place in the wee hours of Thursday morning when they were spotted on the streets of New York City way past bedtime at 3 a.m.
During the shoot, Rihanna was rocking her latest short hair ‘do as well as one outfit where she wore black jeans, a black jacket as well as Timberlands. She was also on set in an eye-catching, zebra-print gown. There’s been no confirmation on what it is the former tourmates are working on.
MTV News reached out to both artists’ camps for more information and had yet to hear back by press time.
This is hardly the first collaboration for Rih and Rocky. At last year’s VMAs, she invited him to perform the remix to her Talk That Talk track . This year, Rihanna’s “Stay” is nominated for Best Female Video at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, airing live on August 25 from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
Earlier this year, Rocky opened for her on her Diamonds tour, and last December, A$AP explained to MTV News about why he likes working with the Unapologetic singer so much.
“She has a lot of style, and I think that’s what she saw in me and what she liked, because she saw that I was eclectic with the way I did my music and my style was different,” he said, later joking, “I really think it was more she admired me as an artist — and the fact that I’m handsome helped.”
