Kissed by fire, killed by an arrow — that’s the way the cookie crumbled for Ygritte, the wildling warrior who lost her life on “The Watchers on the Wall.”
Jon Snow’s ex-girlfriend died during the wildling raid on Castle Black, just seconds before she could shoot an arrow into her former flame. Young Ollie beat her to the punch, driving an arrow straight through her heart, leaving Ygritte to bleed out and die in Jon’s arms. It was very sad, and further proof that no one can have nice things on “Game of Thrones.”
Sadly, there’s no rewinding the clock on this one, “Edge of Tomorrow” style. Ygritte is dead, dead, dead. But, there are ways of softening the blow, including adding some Bon Jovi to the equation. See for yourself:
