Spider-Man’s Sinister Six Revealed?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2” might not have the teaser-filled post-credits scene you’ve been hoping for, but with a little help from your phone, you can get a glimpse of what’s next for the wall crawler.

Using the Shazam app while listening to the Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar song, “It’s On Again,” reveals six(!) images related to well-known Spider-Man villains: Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Vulture, Rhino and Mysterio.

A report from The Wrap suggests that neither Drew Goddard’s script for the Sinister Six spin-off nor the line-up has been finalized yet, but it would be hard to imagine a roster that looked much different from this.

That being the case, let’s take a look at each baddie to see what Spider-Man might have in store for him in the coming years.

Green Goblin

Let’s get the obvious one out of the way first. Of course Dane DeHaan’s Green Goblin would make his way into the select group. Since he’s getting the first introduction, it makes sense to cast him as the de facto leader.

Doctor Octopus

The octopod villain got a tip of the hat near the end of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” and it no doubt means big things for the series. I mean, the last time Doc Ock showed up, he got his own movie.

Kraven the Hunter

The world’s greatest hunter is also the villain that Andrew Garfield wants to see the most. And it looks like he’s getting his wish.

Vulture

Every party needs a creepy old guy hanging around, right? That’s where Vulture comes in. The winged elderly dude is known for stealing youth, only to have it sucked away again.

Rhino

Like the Green Goblin, Rhino gets a solid introduction in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ with promise of a lot more Paul Giamatti goodness to come. Because who wouldn’t want more of that little head in a big CGI suit?

Mysterio

Of all the bad guys included in the Sinister Six tease, this master of illusion might have the most potential for the big screen.
