‘Star Trek’ Crew Bringing Exclusive Clip To MTV On Wednesday!

Are you ready to beam up to the Enterprise for another “Star Trek” movie? Or do you need to see more before you agree to be transported?

Either way, next week, Paramount Pictures and MTV News are teaming up to unveil a brand-new, exclusive clip from the latest installment in the long-running franchise. At 7:56 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Josh Horowitz will join stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana and Benedict Cumberbatch and director J.J. Abrams to introduce the never-before-seen clip and then sit down with the cast and crew for a 30-minute interview about the upcoming movie.

And if that’s still not enough to set your phasers to “stunned,” fans can ask questions by tweeting @MTVNews with the hashtags #MTVFirst or #AskStarTrek.

“Into Darkness,” the follow-up to 2009’s blockbuster “Star Trek” reboot, reunites the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise as a new and deadly threat converges upon Starfleet. It’s up to Captain Kirk (Pine), Mr. Spock (Quinto) and communications office Uhura (Saldana) to defeat the mysterious John Harrison (Cumberbatch), whose fiendish designs threaten the safety of Earth.

What would you ask your favorite “Trek” character if you had the chance? Make sure you tweet your question using the hashtags above, and you just might get your answer! And thankfully, even if the cast and crew choose not to spoil the movie’s many surprises, fans won’t have to wait too long to find out what happens – “Star Trek Into Darkness” opens nationwide May 17.
