During her recent appearance on the BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show,” Taylor Swift reminisced about the most British thing she’s ever done: sing karaoke with Prince William at Kensington Palace.
Sure, sure, we know it happened last winter, but let’s just reminisce along with her for a minute shall we?
In what she called her “first royal encounter,” Taylor was invited onstage by Jon Bon Jovi to sing “Livin’ on a Prayer” with Prince William during the Winter White Gala in London.
“I was very nervous for the whole thing,” she told Norton. Apparently, Prince William was, too: He freaked out to Taylor privately because he couldn’t remember any of the lyrics to Bon Jovi’s 1986 hit!
Luckily, the whole thing went off without a hitch. “We went up there and we sang along to ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ and I died,” Taylor said.
