‘Teen Vogue’ Just Gave Rita Ora The Best Birthday Present Ever

If you were thinking about getting Rita Ora a cool gift for her 24th birthday party (it’s on November 26), but, um, sorry, Teen Vogue just beat you to it (don’t worry—I’m sure you can totally regift that homemade “Black Widow” diorama).

The mag made the “British It girl” their November cover girl and gave her not one, but two sporty-cool covers. She, naturally, did not let us down.

She discusses fashion with the mag, revealing, “I’m a big fan of the pieces I wear. I wear designers I know the history of. When I meet all of these incredible talents—Jeremy Scott, Donna Karan, Tom Ford—I’m like, ‘Without sounding psycho, I want to know about your inspirations.’ I love their stories.” That’s not psycho at all, Rita—that’s clever as hell.

One of the photos features Rita in a DKNY longline varsity jacket that has her name and the number 25 emblazoned across the back. On Instagram, she captioned the photo “Rita for @dkny.” Um, what?! Could she be using all these collected inspirations for her own DKNY collab? We can hope, right?

There are a ton of photos from the shoot on Teen Vogue‘s site, and all encapsulate Rita’s enviable ability to pull off unexpected combinations like it ain’t no thang. See: this Jeremy Scott top, Calvin Klein briefs, and Acne jeans.

Well until she decides to spill her secrets—about wearing low-rise jeans or if she’s working with DKNY—we’ll just have to obsess over her Teen Vogue pics and keep our fingers crossed.

This video is helping, actually. We’ll just watch it on repeat.
