Get ready, Maze Runners and wannabe Runners, this Sunday is going to be quite the show. We’ve already met our four teams of fierce competitors for Sunday night’s “Million Dollar Maze Runner” special, and we know what they’re competing for — that would be a million bucks and a brand new Scion –but we don’t know exactly what they’ll be doing to win it.
In the upcoming “The Maze Runner,” Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers must daily sprint through a maze that they think holds the key to their survival and freedom. Unfortunately, it also contains the Grievers, terrifying and deadly creatures whose sole purpose seems to be capturing the Runners.
While there won’t be Grievers on hand in “Million Dollar Maze Runner,” there will be plenty of challenges. We’ve taken the liberty of putting together a few helpful tips for what awaits the Red, Green, Blue and White teams in the Maze Sunday night.
Challenge One: The Climb and Grind
Almost as important as never looking down: being sure of your footing. A misstep in the Climb and Grind could dash your chances of winning the ultimate prize.
Challenge Two: The Puzzle of the Maze
You can use physical skill in this challenge, but also need a skill we all learned in preschool: listening! Put on your listening ears, or it might cost you a million.
Challenge Three: The Million Dollar Breakthrough Bridge
It all comes together here: with the final prize in sight, the two remaining teams will have to put together all the skills they’ve used in the competition thus far. Who will take it all?
Tune in to “Million Dollar Maze Runner” at 10 p.m. EST Sunday night to find out who’s going home with the ultimate prize!
“The Maze Runner” hits theaters September 19.
