Though they’re still playing coy as a new couple, Ariana Grande and Big Sean are clearly the perfect match for each other.
Want to know how we know that? Well, because they both share the love for the “best month of the year”: October.
The new couple was so pumped that the calendar read October 1 that they both tweeted their mutual enthusiasm over the yearly occurrence. Ariana, who’s already been rocking her Halloween cat ears for several months, started things off with wishing everyone a happy first day to her favorite month and followed that up a little later with a simple, “hell yeah October.”
Big Sean, who was seen holding hands with Ariana after leaving an “Saturday Night Live” after-party, got in on the harvest month as well, tweeting “I f—in love October man.” Clearly, Ariana agreed, since she retweeted her rumored boyfriend. See? Written in the stars!

So what we’ve concluded from this is that because they share the love of pumpkins, hayrides and Halloween (and possibly pumpkin spice lattes, because you can’t love October and not love those), they’re probably going to live happily ever after.
