It’s Throwback Thursday and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” week, which means it’s a perfect time to take a look at the adorable cast of the super-sequel from a younger, happier time. One way before their current sinister future:
Andrew Garfield
Spider-Man himself is, in case you didn’t know, from the UK. And as a citizen of Britain, he was legally required to appear on national treasure “Doctor Who” for at least one episode. Over-achiever that he is, Garfield appeared in a 2007 two-part episode as Frank, a lovable street ragamuffin who teamed up with The Doctor to fight pig creatures from outer space.
Emma Stone
Presaging her epic lip-synch battle with Jimmy Fallon, Stone got her career started competing on “In Search Of The Partridge Family,” eventually winning the short-lived role of Laurie in the pilot for “The New Partridge Family.” And as usual, she was adorable.
Paul Giamatti
Giamatti is a screen staple now, but his debut was in 1992′s “Singles.” Look at him! So fresh and young and full of hope! Fingers crossed they remake “Singles” now, but with rhinoceros mech-suits.
Dane DeHaan
In case you’re wondering whether the Green Goblin actor was always this creepy, check out the above still from his 2008 appearance on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” Skin…. Crawling…
Jamie Foxx
We have no idea where this picture is from. Maybe a headshot from when he was an up and coming stand-up comic? Regardless. SO YOUNG.
Sally Field
In 1965, Field starred as a surfer in the short-lived series “Gidget,” and now we’re very confused about our feelings towards Aunt May.
