The 2013 TomorrowWorld Festival lineup has finally been announced, and it does not disappoint. This is the first year the festival company ID&T, responsible for massive electronic festival Tomorrowland, will take the party Stateside, for all those EDM fans that couldn’t make it across the pond. With more than 300 acts scheduled to perform between September 27 and September 29, the festival is off to a powerful start.
The city of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, will host the festival for its inaugural year. A-list names like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta and Calvin Harris are just the beginning. In addition to these heavy hitters, former Swedish House Mafia members Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell are slated to perform separately. There will be an exciting appearance from “Afroki” — you guessed it, Steve Aoki and Afrojack‘s newest collaboration project — and a special performance from non-EDM guest Riff Raff.
In addition to a killer lineup, ID&T is bringing its notable production style to the South, including large-scale stages, gourmet food vendors and a to-be-announced theme. As if this weren’t enough, TommorowWorld has designed an entire community that will exist just for the weekend. Dreamville will be the festival’s own campsite for 30,000 lucky fans, complete with all the amenities you can think of; most importantly, it will host an exclusive pre-party to the event.
If you haven’t gotten your tickets, packages are still available, but probably not for long. In the meantime, stick with MTV News for on-the-ground coverage at TomorrowWorld’s European equivalent in July, Tomorrowland, and for all of your summer-festival news needs!
