The pose is—for some reason, IDK—nibbling on a string of pearls. Pearls have no nutritional value, so, maybe swap ‘em for a piece of spaghetti, Tay? True, it wouldn’t look as glamorous, I guess. She also recreates the soft curls Mia had on her cover—a hairstyle she’s already familiar with (see: 2013 VMAs)—and an ascot fastened with a brooch.

Taylor recreates the look for the magazine’s 40th anniversary issue, which you can pick up on newsstands today. While it seems like she’s peering into your soul with her blue eyes on the actual cover, on the anniversary cover she shifts her focus to imitate Mia Farrow’s perfectly. 1974 or 2014? It’s impossible to tell.
